The "Security" Update has single-handedly ruined the entire game for a good chunk of PC players. Even though malicious mods are blocked, so are other mods such as QOL improvements and performance enhancements. And besides, Easy Anti-Cheat is stupid easy to bypass.

While I don't use mods, EAC also consumes additional system resources, has ring 0 access to your PC, and allegedly is spyware, can keylog, and take screenshots. If the latter is true, then this is a massive security hole for everyone on PC.

Anti-cheat software, let alone on a social game, should not be a thing. And the community is on full protest. The only hope for now is to see if the developers will reverse the changes. Don't support game devs who use anti-cheat software to prevent modding.
