No wonder they say "best things in life are free". POE is a great example. Though not exactly a Diablo clone, it's still pretty similar to Diablo in a lot of aspects. The important part is that it doesn't just copy Diablo, but it succeedes in improving it.

Its complexity charmed me. You can feel in every of its aspects that a lot of work has been put into it. The huge skill build tree is only a mere example. There are also plenty of customization options, maps, quests, items, etc.

The graphics are also pretty nice. Grim, dark, suitable for such a game, and fit with the game's main theme and story.

The only regret I have about this game is that I don't have the free time to play it as much as I'd like.

It's all about those awesome (detailed, colorful, original, plain beautiful) graphics (visual details, animations, every visible thing). The puzzles are challenging without getting frustrating, and the gameplay is also quite nice and captivating.

Addictive and frustrating. It feels somehow masochistic. Did I say addictive?

It's rogue-like. So if you lose, you lose. No progess to save or stuff like that.

Too bad it doesn't come with Steam achievements though. That would've given me a motivation to play it some more.

Simply awesome.
