I can give it a positive review if you enjoy hidden object games and cats.
That is it. The game is very short, even though there are 2000 cats to find.

This is probably more fun for a small child / kid then for an adult.
Still, the game is "good" in the sense that it does what it wants to do, very nice artwork, good-ish sound design, price also fair for what it offers, and the same can be said about the other games on the same type from the same developer.

Therefore, if you like to find cats in images, go for it, if you have a child, also easy, else, maybe skip this one.

About 2 hours to 100% the game.

An easy recommendation if you like Metal, Shooters or Rhythm Games. An easier recommendation if you like all of those 3.

Not much to say about this game to be fair, it's basically that: you shoot demons, on the beat, while listening to metal.
The better you play, the harder you can head bang.

Rather simple but that doesn't mean it's bad, it's amazing how enjoyable it can be.
Not that many levels, but with the music, vocals, different weapons, replayability is there and you will enjoy it.

Grab it, ideally on a good price reduction with the DLCs. I personally would skip the one with the non-metal music, but you do you.

A solid Tier B, so, Good and very enjoyable.

What. A. Masterpiece!

The first boss is the Main Menu song. The second is the feels.

Now, don't get me wrong, is not as the story is something that was never made before. But man, did they pull a great way to tell it.
The world building is fantastic, the story is easy to grasp but there are so many little details that make it feel like a real world, the OST is just a MASTERPIECE, the combat is a great mix of Turn Based but still with Quick Time Events - hear me out, in this genre they are a very good thing -, so you will blast though the game and be a "little" sad when it comes to the end.

The gameplay, the graphics, the OST, the sound effects, the story, *everything*, what a masterpiece.
I can't recommend this game enough and it makes an easy entry into the Tier S.

Just buy it, and enjoy one of the best games - as a complete package - with a turn based system that you can think of.

Ps.: one ending is "wrong" - if you go for that one, "shame on you", and grow as a person.

For those who come after - but break the cycle, because tomorrow comes.

What a masterpiece of a game.

Now, don't get me wrong: in terms of gameplay, this is basically a walking simulator.

But, on the Voice Acting Quality and on the Soundtrack, on those 2 aspects ALONE, the game is a Must Play.
Once you start going into the story, the themes it touches, how mature the game talks about subjects, focusing on asking you questions and not giving you a decisive right or wrong answer, this is probably one of the best narrative design games I've ever seen.

It takes a few chapters for you to understand the story, and everytime you think you know what is going on, it brings you back to square zero, but by the end, the story is complete and (almost) all ends are tied up.

You might need to play it twice, once to see the story, and a second time to go though with the knowledge of the full picture and better appreciate how many details and how much narrative quality is put into it.

But then again, going though this masterpiece twice is a reward, not a punishment.

I can only not recommend it if you completely put off by Walk Simulators, and even then, I would suggest you consider how much narrative impact has on you, and if it's still high, still give it a go.
You probably won't regret it.

What a lovely game!

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay isn't trying to beat Dark Souls, but the design, the charm, the sounds, the story is like magical like being a kid again.

Either playing with your S.O. or while your children watch will be a thrill for all, I can't put into words how lovely and enjoyable the game was.

You "can" only play it once, and it's rather on the short side at about 3-4 hours, but it's a huge love crafted game, where the design / art is so amazing, that I can recommend it without even thinking twice.

A solid A Tier.

This one reminds me a lot of "Stray".
The pros and cons are very much the same as well.

If you enjoy cats and similar, the game is "good" maybe even "great" for you.
It's cozy, charming, doesn't over welcome it's stay and in general a good game to play with your significant other.

If you on the other hand want a compeling story, gameplay, game loop, or any of those more "game-typical" features, then you might want to skip this one.

Like "Stray", if you enjoy / don't mind not having the biggest challenges or interesting game play but can be satisfied due to the topic / genre / thematic then might be a good consideration to share with your SO if you have a big screen.

4-6 hours for 100% if that is your way to judge.

A solid Tier B (above average / good game) due to the "love" and "cuteness" that was purr-ed into the game

A great visual experience. Sound design is very good as well.
As a game, it's lackluster.
Way too simple in both mechanics and interactivity, you have to follow it's rules exactly, absolutely no way to change or influence anything or play differently.

This one I would seriously only recommend it if you either a) get a steep discount - think 6 hours, at best, from start to finish - b) Swedish children stories mean a lot to you or c) you can be entertained with good photography design and pretty graphics, and don't mind much a lackluster gameplay, even better, you enjoy it being lackluster and rather on the "simple" side.

Still recommend it, the art and sound design are just very high quality, but keep your expectations in check / be mindful of your own tastes and priorities about gameplay.

A Solid B. (so above average, good game)

What a simple, great experience.
Notice I'm not saying game, because as game - in the sense of playing - this is barely more then a walking simulator with VERY little of Pokemon Snap like ideas.

Don't get me wrong, the art design, sound design and general world building and atmosphere is TOP notch, the gameplay itself is on the downside, but that is not a killer feature here.

It's a very wholesome story / experience that you can play with your significant other watching - or the other way around -, or give it to your kid, which is even better.

Rather short, about 3 - 4 hours to 100% the game, and the game has 0 replayability, so take that into consideration when calculating your € / hour.

Still, an easy recommendation if you enjoy a relaxed, lay back game, where you can just enjoy the atmosphere and world building and not having to worry about QTE, builds, progression and such stuff.

A bit of a harder one to review.
So, if you are looking for a "good game" in sense of gameplay, just skip this one. The gameplay and gameplay mechanics is as basic as you can get for the release year.
The logic breaks a lot as well when going between gameplay and the game / story itself, so you might have to suspend your suspension of disbelief quite often depending how much you notice it.
The game world rules - eg: invisible walls - aren't also the best to keep it mildly.

With that being said, graphics and sound design wise, is very up there and easy to recommend. The story has it's flaws, mainly in some points connecting the "A happened because of B", mainly in very specific tension points between some caracthers.

With that said, would still recommend, mainly for someone who isn't the most "hardc0re pr0 gam3r" and can enjoy a story without a very deep gameplay focused game on itself.

About 14-18 hours to play though, including the 100% achievement target.

A very nice arcade - water - racing game.
Split Screen, Online Play, Single Player Career, everything is there to play a very nice arcade-like water racing game that you can play while hearing your podcast or keeping up with the news, but at the same time, interesting enough that you can play it as a main focus.
Not the most mechanically depth game, but everything else - sound, gameplay, design - is just there.
Story is very much skipable.

About 13 - 18 hours of gameplay for 100% achievements, a lot more if you play with a friend in split screen / online.

An easy recommendation if you enjoy arcade race games in general.
