You'll probably heard a lot about this game being an Overwatch and/or Valorant clone, though it may look similar it is kinda different.. yeah kinda. But before judging let's get a bit into it first (or you could see my review overall score in the very bottom if you don't want to read this long summary).

GAME MODE
So to start with in this game so far we got a few gamemode to play with:

- there's 7v7, 3v3v3, escort payload (seems familiar?), and bomb (of course). The 7v7 and 3v3v3 is pretty much a standard shoot 'em all till you get a certain kill total for your team to win, pretty basic so far.

- Next we got escort, so if you played Overwatch before this is literally quite the same.. as defender team you push the payload until a certain point for checkpoint and to finish line to win the game. And as the attacker you'll have to try your best to stop the enemy from pushing their payload until the time runs out and everytime the enemy push their payload to checkpoints, their time extends and you don't want that. You can kinda halt their progress or push back the payload staying at the payload as the defending team. Yeah it's pretty much Overwatch, what can I say?

- Lastly we got bomb, of course almost shooter game have this mode. So, this one is quite similar to Valorant because one of your team (and you) need to pickup the bomb and carry it out to the bombsite and plant the bomb. But this game adds a bit more to it because if you die in this gamemode you're knocked down for 10 seconds which means you don't die straight away but knocked and can be revived as long as you don't get killed by the enemy while you're down or the time doesn't runs out. Quite cool no?

CHARACTERS
Then next one is going to be talking about the characters:

- To start this game have a faction that you can choose like the good guy faction and the bad guy faction (imagine CT and Terrorist on Counter Strike) and also the neutral side. In escort and bomb mode you can only pick the "bad guy" faction (the scissors) and the neutral side (urbino) viceversa you can only pick the "good guy" faction (P.U.S) and the neutral side. So yeah, Urbino can serve as the multiversal character faction that can be used regardless you're attacking or defending.

- Again if you're familiar with Valorant and Overwatch you probably know that there's character classes. Yes this game also have classes like Duelist with main focus on killing the enemy and also could serve as the entry fragger (one to enter first to the enemy line), Controller that hinder the enemy progress by smoking thea area / string-blocked the enemy (this will be discussed later) / slows the enemy down. Sentinel as the name suggest this class good on defending the key objective for example there's a character that could place a turret / teleport between point / burn a very large area, Support this class main objective is to heal their teammates to ensure your team are always good to go in the middle of battlefield. Last but not least is Vanguard that could give the enemy location by scanning the area.

So.. what makes it different from another game?

You might think so far that it's pretty much like another game but just a little bit different in here and there no? well now let's talk about the main charm that this game offers you, the "Stringification". Meaning that you could turn yourself into 2D paper-like thing in the 3D world. By becoming "stringified" / paper-like now you can stick yourself to a wall and payload while also run around travelling the wall like a 2D movement would look like also you could glide down mid-air like a flying squirrel while you're stringified. But that's not just it, your hitbox is smaller plus you got a damage reduction too, sounds OP right? well there is some way to counter the stringified by using a string-block gadget or skills (check the classes that I've mentioned before) and upgrade in-game that increase the damage to those who become stringified.

My review for this game
it's not a review if we're not talking about pros and cons, so.. let's talk about the pros first. I love the escort gamemode so so much because it's fun that not only killing you and the team have to push or defend the payload until the end. and the stringification mechanics is quite fresh and you could also use it for your advantage like to evade, traverse, or also take reduced damage and small hitbox while you're reloading when you're stringified (becoming paper-like). The cons for now is pretty much some character might be too imbalance like Audrey (Sentinel class) for example she gets a shield while aiming and have no need to reload while becoming turret mode plus her ultimate deal so much damage by burning the enemy in the area with her mortar. The hero pool can be considered too few you might say. because only a certain characters have a certain weapons so not every characters uses sniper / assault rifle etc, you need a specific character with that weapon and that might seems annoying for some people (I just sucks at using sniper and SMG to be honest). and yeah there's also gacha system for getting the character skins or the gun skins... which is very very annoying because I AM NOT goind to grind myself out just to pull the skins (note you'll get 1 gacha ticket for every 5 account level, yeah that is going to annoy me a whole lot)

Well some of you might think this is just a FOMO game or a copy of some game or whatever but all I could say to you is to try it first and judge it yourself after a few try (please at least try it until you reach lv10 account and already try all of the gamemode) who know if it's to your liking.

so I guess I'll have to give this game a score of 7 out of 10
note: don't compare it to another game or assume this is another game clone before you give this game a try first!

word to describe this game is Yeonsim / 硏尋
(硏, to grind or study; 尋, to seek)

meaning this game need you to do a weekly grind for gacha and seek the masterpiece story telling that this game provide you.

REVIEW :

The Gacha System
Jokes aside, this gacha game is unlike the other. Though this game does not have pity system, you can get any character that you've been missed out before (if you're lucky enough still) meaning you don't need to wait for many months just for a rerun banner for that specific character. Also they're quite generous with the "Lunacy" (the resource that you use for gacha), because you will get Lunacy everytime they're doing a maintenance plus they usually give you quite a lot (it's usually worth 2 - 10 pulls).

The Story
The majority of Limbus Company are heavily inspired from books. For example, our main character Dante are taken directly from the book "Divine Comedy" where Dante travelling in hell to go to heaven with his guide, Virgil (named Vergillius in this game). This game goals is to retrieve "golden boughs" and those task were given to Dante and the other member called Sinners. So, Dante along with 12 Sinner goes to every what's so called a buried Lobotomy Corporation (the same name as the prequel game) to get the bough. But every golden bough are strongly connected with each sinner and their past. Also each sinner are also taken from the book, and each effect from the golden bough will show their past and they need to overcome it. Trust me, it's so good. The story telling a such a masterpiece especially in later chapters.

The Battle System
Please don't be overwhelm with it's combat mechanic (lol). The combat have 2 types, one you just make a chain like playing a puzzle and two is click&drag against the enemy (just like Library of Ruina mechanics). Yes, it's quite confusing and complex the first time you deal with it. But spend some time to learn as you go by youself chapter by chapter or watch some video on Youtube for their combat explanation. Trust me, by the time you reach a further chapter, the further you'll understand about this battle mechanic.

Afterword
The gameplay of this game is quite unique plus the story and also the music is such a masterpiece, so I really advice you to try this game. Please give it a try, and if this game doesn't suit you then that's okay as well. Also check out other Project Moon game or their webnovel (and webtoon), maybe that'll pique your interest.

Rating
9/10 = Overall it's great. my only issue now was the amount of XP and threadspin grind is too little so levelling up your character might be quite difficult.

The gameplay might be buggy and goofy as heck. But the gameplay is so much fun, try it yourself.

In this game you are a "ghost hunting content creator", where you record those human bones and spooky activities that happened in the Old Town. This game can have up to 4 players and you can either invite your friends or join random lobby to fill up the squad, but you can also play solo if you want to. And this might be similar to Lethal Company if you've played that game before.

Just like Lethal Company, you also have time limit that is represented as oxygen and health bar and also stamina bar for running, Also yes there's also quota for every 3 days. But the quota here are your video views. YES, everytime you go to the Old Town you will record the spooky stuff that happened there and publish your video when you came home. The unique part of this game is, you can watch the replay that you've recorded with all your friends and for every spooky stuff that you've recorded will be rewarded with "views" for your quota goals. ALSO your video can be saved to your local storage! meaning, you can save the recording and show it with to other people if you want to! ISN'T THAT COOL??

Oh, this game seems don't have a text feature and a voice chat is really crucial for recording. So, I hope you have your mic for the best experience. This game might also bugged but hey knowing landfall, the bug is usually the best feature. Plus, it has no graphic settings yet. So, you have to do with what you have right now.

ALRIGHT, that's all from my review and if you bought the game then I hope you enjoy the game as I do!!

It's just too confusing and feels like too complex. I don't know what to do and what I should do.

I'd rather play Terraria because the goal is just more clear with Terraria (I'm sorry)

It was okay 5/10 (for now)

It has good artstyle and many good reference to other holo member. You should try it at least once if you like hololive or 'beat em up game. It also have many variety of items such as equipment gear and consumables!

This game is better if you're playing coop with your friends, because every member has their own class, unique abilities, and ultimate and also you can revive your teammates if they're downed. BUT IF YOU'RE PLAYING SOLO, I just can say that it's doable but it's painful. You need to stock up heals consumables and equipment that can help you survive.

CONTROLS:
- The movement control is stiff for a 'beat em up game. but it's not that bad

COMBAT:
- You need to hold the button to trigger the powerful moves / special skills. While you're holding the button, your characters will "charge-up" until the cue for you skill is ready to be unleashed and in this state you can do nothing other can charging up (this can't be cancelled). That means the enemy can punish you hard when you're trying to use your skills. This is not a bit of problem if you're playing multiplayer, but if you're playing solo this can bite you hard and annoying.

- You can pickup objects (makeshift weapon) such as bench, crates, etc to hit the enemy with. Well you can also throw the object at the enemies, but it just feels pointless. Because the attack range of every object feels the same and it's not much difference than using basic attack. And if you're trying to dodge or got hit by the enemies then the "objects" will dropped immediately. Again which wouldn't be much of problem if you're playing multiplayer because the enemy will sometime lose focus on you but not with singleplayer (which I consider the makeshift weapon as useless for solo).

- There's consumables, which can buff, heals, or throw to beat your enemies. You will probably use this a lot, because this really helps you to fight the massive amount of enemies.

I can only say that this game is not ready for the single-player experience as now, maybe in the next update we'll see some improvement. After all you've seen KayAnimate in the previous game and they did a pretty good job so let's hope they'll improve this one too.
(also english is not my first language so sorry if I made any wrong spelling or some sort)

Heck yeah, I absolutely recommend it.

It's battlefield with unturned like character aspect to it. The people there that I met are usualy chill and fun to talk to. But sadly there's no something like queueing up with a random stranger or showing Clan with members to join, what I mean is there's no strong way to play with strangers rather than meeting them up at the lobby that you select. I mean that's reasonable because region server stuff. But still, I want to team up and chat with strangers because when you already playing, people not really talk that much and just focus on shooting (well, which is okay but come on let's squad up, let's be friends)

sorry about that rant, on another note, i'll be talking about the combat stuff. So there's 5 role that consist of: Assault (Frontliner), Medic (Revive and aid up people better than any classes). Mechanic (Loved and Hated by tanks or any vehicles). Support (your source of ammo supply), Recon (Intel and Sniper). Each role have their own speciality that no other classes have, for example, Recon can have sniper, and Support have heavy machine gun, Mechanic have their RPG, and assault can be considered as versatile(I guess?). Oh and of course you can change the role whenever your like in game, there's no such thing as "You should be Medic", "You should be that", etc. Just play what role you wanted and enjoy the game.

TLDR: Game is good, but I need the feature to meet people that interested to squad up with me in the Asia Server lol.
