playin this with the multiverse mod is unreal.

after playing AI limit and Dolls nest 2 other similar souls-like clones to code vein, perhaps they could be referred to as animesouls clones. i return to this surprisingly high budget gem code vein with its changeable free-flow class system and good diversity in weapons like bayonets and a good story hidden behind all the anime tropes. im a big fan of these kinda games honestly cant say i dislike a single souls clone. its rare in soulsclones to get ai companions while they arnt great it does add an element that no other soulsclone has done really since. besides ashen.

also its a fairly short game my first play through clocked at 28 hours. the dlc were underwhelming and the game needs mods to add in more clothing costumes for your anime sim.

The game far surpassed my memory's of playing it many years ago. Its got it all an ingame armory good memorable charterers and the gameplay is so much more refined then AC 1 soo fast and agile really a good game all around no reason not to play this game even if you havnt played assassins creed 1 since everything is explained.

great map to find codex pages since you need to collect em all for the main story. also the truth glyphs are a must find if you want the full scope of the store.

the best souls game easyly.

I was recommended this game by a old friend long ago. wish i had listened to him since this was a great game.

its got lots of guns/ammo types and enemy factions. a good few hub areas and a surprising game length.

only bummer was a cliff hanger ending and some janky animations

I finished this game on another platform includeing the dlc. such an amazeing homage to dark souls 1. havnt had a gameing experience this good since dark souls 2.

While nothing special it does have alot of gameplay elements from its release period that it does well. for example it does the system shock style of story through environmental pickups datalogs and interacting with terminals. i personally like the slower paced combat and story. the games only problem is that it was likly one of the worst offenders for respawning enemys or jumpscare spawns i like to call em an enemys will come at you from any angle even right behind you.

getting the games settings to work can be buggy. id reccomend a guide for resolution at least or try one of the games many mods. the remaster[bfg edition] from reports online is a easyer game.

The game is alot better then it appears,it felt like bioshock meets gears of war at the time. its got a gloomy scary vibe that games dont have anymore. it does show its age but its still better then warframe. games arnt made edgy like they used to be this is peak edge. also its free to promote warframes new expansion 1999

played it on ps3 and it was a decent game if you liked gears of war.

If you are using a 16x9 resolution such as 1920x1080 like I am, you will notice that the game will still not scale right on your screen, cutting off inches from the top of the screen and probably other sides. Here is the fix.
