This game game out October 28, 2014 roughly 1.5 years before dark souls 3 for its time it was a looker it really was and every dark souls fan at the time was likely hyped for this game at some stage unfortunately it didn't fully live up to the hype it turned out to be a undeniably mid game. its really not worth playing at this stage in fromsoft dark souls style clone games and will likely keep ageing like milk. lords of the fallen was 1 of the first games to ride the souls-clone high but few get as much hate even the follow up game also called lords of the fallen gets more hate then it deserves. i also appreciate the story in this game being more then relevant in the new game.

while i am still in the supposed refined part of the game i can only say good things about the game. the male VO was boreing and his generic english accent is unbearable compared to the female VO who is much much better. the story is another thing everyone seems to say is trash but i see clear signs of attempts to make a lore with the talent trees being filled with paragraphs of lore

ultimatly i feel its a mashup of lords of the fallen/shadows:awakening/warhammer only in terms of vibe good music too the gameplay is generic but decent diablo 3 style gameplay only 4 active skills console limitations and such also the game looks great and the fashionsouls element is looking valid. hopefull i dont need to update this review with a massive IT SUCKS later since people talk about this game like it killed there nan

SO i beat the game and after finding out why everyone is so mad besides multiplayer being discontinued, in act 4 the game becomes a rogue like something i didnt mind personally even if it was kinda lame and the story was good even if a bit corny it was like playing lords of the fallen same story almost and all.

overall i enjoyed it and will play it again as a different class nothing ground breaking but it wasnt terrible

The game is a good mix of yakuza and gta but unlike gta guns are rare in hong kong so when you get them it feels completely different then in a gta game and the guns are limited too but stay in your inventory. the combat generally feels good like a batman game were it gives you just enough new tools to keep it engaging. the story is also good even if it ends on a cliff hanger. still a great game.

they really did make dragons dogma 1.2? the same microtransaction scheme to boot. surly they will learn with dragons dogma 3?

i recommend being at least 6ft to be able to beat this game ngl.
