This is, one of my favorite Black Ops games for Zombies. The modding community genuinely keeps this game alive, and I love it, because I can revisit some classic BO2 maps without spending $20 on a twelve year old dlc from the same game.

Even the base BO3 zombie maps are really fun, the dlc is priced fairly, and I haven't had a single dull moment playing this game. I never even touched BO3 on launch, despite being a massive COD fan back in the day, because I wasn't a fan of the futuristic high speed gameplay that came with the multiplayer and campaign. BO2 did it right, BO3 did not. However, that didn't touch our beloved zombies, and the story evolution from WAW to this game, is muah, chefs kiss.

It took me over 6 years to finally give this game a shot, and man I'm so glad I did, which is funny considering I grinded BO4 zombies and multiplayer. Just did a total leap over this game lol. Honestly, despite what people think of Treyarch, their ability to create a fantastic zombies story in unmatched. All in all, this game is a must have in your library, especially considering the workshop capabilities. There are custom maps, that feel like an almost exact DLC the franchise could've officially released and moreso, the nostalgia feel from the modding community recreating old maps is the best part.
