It all started from a meme I found on the internet one day. There was this japanese cool looking guy singing a very emotional song called Baka Mitai. I fell in love with the meme, especially with the music.

Another day I was gonna play something on a friend's console when I noticed he had a game called Yakuza 0 in which the banner had the same guy that I talked about moments ago. I couldn't believe it, so I tried it out. I only did about one chapter on that run, but boys and girls let me tell you how much I enjoyed it. I remember trying every single minigame before finishing the first chapter's story. I was totally hooked up. Baka Mitai was there. I was laughing my arse off. I don't think I had that much fun on a singleplayer game like that in a while.
But unfortunately that was it.
The only thing that was left was the funny meme song on my spotify playlist that made me play it in the first time.

About a year later after getting a Yakuza 0 Recap Video on my Youtube homepage (which of course I didn't watch for spoilers) I finally decided to buy it for me.
That was one of the best choices I could have made.

This game is a masterpiece, and there is really no other way to put it. I won't make any spoilers but this game provides so much that is basically impossible to not spoil something. The Karaoke, the Disco, any other minigame, the substories gets you hooked up, wondering "How far is SEGA gonna go this time???". The amount of different fighting stances, scenes.
This game can teach you a lot of stuff regarding the Japanese Culture and World.
But most important of all you really don't expect this game to be sad as well after you played darts and pool or after you win a turkey on a bowling competition.

Maybe it's too addicting, after I played some hours of it I realized I lost myself and my whole steam account became Kiryu-chan's personal one. Gotta also love how you can destroy kids on Pocket Racing.

My favourite game, this had to be my first review. I already bought all the yakuza franchise.
