2022:
Still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Robot Game even tho w/ Cauldron taking care of balance, the overall experience w/ viability of different Mech chassis became better. But the core issues cannot be fixed by Cauldron as long as PGI refuses to invest in neccessary things like "second lobby balancing" instead of the terrible soup we are drowning in.

2021:
Game still in Maintenance Mode. PGI still doesn't give a damn about its game and costumers. Quickplay is now a mix of 4Man Groups and Solos, making the Soloplayer Experience worse than ever. While I was mainly angry at the Devs in my old review, I am just tired and sad now. MWO used to be great in 2016 but it is slowly but steady going down the drain.


"Old Review":
Dev's officially abandonded the game after neglecting it for several years... catering the wrong players... constantly nerfing FUN in order to give Mechdads their "Road To Tier 1"... I have invested so many hours in this game... and I (still want to) love it...

BUT

Since PGI has no idea how to balance the game to make it fun (Dear Chris Lockons are NOT fun! Get it already!) I cannot recommend this game anymore.
