Actively developed even years after release. Got a good flow of defending, building attacking units, optimizing your resource income, et cetera.

Early Access Review
This game is exceedingly, wonderfully bisexual, non-binary, and queer. The combat is good! It isn't literally DMC's level, of course, but that's to be expected given this doesn't have the tens of millions that Capcom has.

My three main gripes with the game:
- A & B are swapped on my 8bitdo controller, as are X & Y. Presumably because it's checking for the name, not the position on the controller.
- Some of the areas are pretty empty. Their size isn't a problem, given how fast you can move, but it is weird to see little or no clutter. Add the bookshelves and destructible table/chairs! You have the assets!
- Camera needs some deadening during movement. It shakes up and down when doing the forward dodge roll, which you'll probably do a lot if you're traversing large spaces. It just needs to be following the center of mass or the character's origin point instead of their head or whatever they're doing now, or have some lerping put in place.

Overall? Fantastic game and I'm not sure how much more there is to it but I'm gonna keep playing every update.

This game is phenomenal. A great follow-up to Revenge of the Savage Planet, and the new fluids are a great addition to the seeds and goo they already had. One of the few games that will actually let you get crazy with the movement.

It isn't what you want, but it's what you need. It'll make you learn different weapons, builds, and abilities, whether you like it or not.

This game is absolutely fantastic. Pick the pins, fire off the ball, and set up the combo plays to make big number.

My record right now is something like several septillion, which is NOT normal (you need $1 million for the final tribute).

This game is Goat Simulator with a Harry Potter veneer and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Absolutely fantastic dumb fun.

The optimization is still lacking but at least now I can run Firefox at the same time and not have it crash from (presumably) running out of VRAM.

The Seikret is neat but it really does detract from exploring and understanding the areas; I don't feel like I know them nearly as well as I understood World's by the time I beat its main story.

But the weapon changes are fantastic and the monsters are more varied - offset attacks are phenomenal, some QoL changes are much-needed, and overall it's fun.

Very good. Don't go in expecting Skyrim or Oblivion; it's more like Dark Messiah or Witcher 2. The writing is good, the combat is great, the exploration is fun. The videos lambasting the game for the NPCs not walking around town have a slight point, but honestly if I had to choose between NPCs moving around or the combat being this good, I'd pick the combat every time.

Sony got told so I'm doing my part and reversing my review. Game is fun and one of the best arguments for Games as a Service that I've ever seen.

Like Devil May Cry V, the MTX are for stuff you can already buy, find, and earn in-game.

The performance needs work, I won't lie. But it's fine 90% of the time and I have faith they'll improve the last 10%.

The game _feels_ more balanced than DD1, which is arguably a negative, but needs noting depending on how interested you are in breaking the game. And that statement may age poorly as people discover more about the game.

But yeah, highly recommended. Very fun.
