Tldr:
Oh yeah absolutely recommend this. The beginning is a bit "un-forgiving". But after a few lives you get used to it. Game is fun. If you rage easy though at restarting full pogress maybe this game isn't for you. If you don't mind it then it's fun :).

A tutorial would've been nice on a couple of things. It would've been nice like what do the scrolls you pick up do - without having to go look it up on the wiki. I don't like bombs in this game. They're nice for clearing things away but that's about it. Lighting in this game can be annoying, I found myself with 2 lanturns exploring as the lighting with 1 is a bit annoying, and even with 2 it's still finicky a little bit.

All that stuff aside, the combat is fun. The graphics and art style are gorgeous, and the game has a lot to offer for the small compact game it is. A nice handful of enemies, collection/looting is fun. There's a nice amount of weapons. What I wish most of all was, that there was just more to the game because it really is a blast. Make it 5x the amount of dungeons and maybe even different

Thoughts, there should be a mode for casual gamers who just want to play it and not be punished for starting over. When you beat the game it makes sense as to why that isn't the case, but still that should be a optional mode. The fun is in the run though and it's that type of game. If you die it's very unforgiving too as you have to start all over again.

This game has SOOOOOO much more potential too. It's great as is, but I can only imagine what the game would be like if you open it to the modding scene.

This is a mixed review.
Some gaames are fun and relaxed, but the forumula can get pretty repeitive and boring for most of them.
It's pacman at it's finest.
The reason this gets a negative review though is for some of the 3D styled arcade machines (different games).
Some of them are just RNG based, and one of them I absolutely loved the platforming landscape. The idea behind it was super good and the potential was there. For pacman remix the one I was most excited about, I was really excited at first. I thought I discovered a hidden gem. The world design was really nice and laid back, thought it would be a really fun game. But then this was short sighted, as I got further and further into it. the more the controls got clunky and the further RNG based things got. It eventually got to a point where you ha to sacrifice lives to barely progress, and checkpoints. It was rage educing, punishing the player for things they can't control at multiple instances. Controls were super clunky at the critical times, and if you weren't on your toes at all times. Even then because of RNG, you could die at random times.
Some of the 2D games I am not a fan of, but ganted they're older classics so you can let that slide.
The controls on some of the 2D games sucked, and it's really annoying oyu have to play some of the games to unlock others. It's a fun twist, but there should really be a way to just have them unlocekd to play them all incase you don't want to force yourself to play some of them.
You'll get a feel of which ones are more laid back and relaxing.

Final verdict some of the games are fun and laid back, but can get boring quickly. I recommend playing only in short bursts.
I got this as part a humble bundle, glad I didn't buy the game normally.
I do not recommend this game unless you are a hardcore pacman fan who just wants to play the classics, and maybe pacman 256 or a couple of the 2D games which are kind fun. A handful of games are fun, a handful are not, and some isn't my cup of tea.

After 1200+ hours into the game I loved this game in the pasts in bursts. I've played this game and had a blast! I've been ehre throughout the game's changes, adventures, seasons, etc. The game is so creative and I love the concepts/strategy that can be involved. Yes there are overpowered decks, and overpowered cards. the more cards you introduce the more you have to balance thigns out.

If you are reading this devs, please actually listen to my review and don't take it with a grain of salt.

After all this time and the recent updates of Minion Masters 2.0, I can absolutely not recommend this game anymore. This is a huge deal and it's big enough for me to straight up stop playing your game permanently. I know the development team was working on a huge update, but you should've released a beta version for users to test before just forcing the whole thing onto the public or your community. (much like other games have donee)

Because you botched it onto the community without proper feedback, let me give you my initial feedback.

The graphics are a huge downgrade in my opinion with the lighting making the game look murky and depressed. I get what happened as I'm familiar with 3D graphics, game development etc. You tried a new method for cinematic real time game lighting. Cool. But in my opinion does it work - absolutely not. Minion health bars are pratically unreadable. When you crush an enemies tower it seems so bland and boring. It's also very delayed now, and the enemy champions falling off the tower when defeated feel like stiff rag-dolls. It's funny the first time sort of but isn't afterwords. I also am not a fan of the UI whatsoever. You changed what used to be a PC game into a crappy mobile port.

The only thing that seems to be an improvement is the shop offers, at least you have more things for sale at a time? I guess that's a plus. I wouldn't get rid of the bundles in the shop offers as that offers value, but also have the single items available like you do now. Navigating in the shop is a hit and miss for me but at least there's more up for sale! (HA watch the developers only pay attention to this part when i mention the paying shop advice - rolls eyes)

Another pet peeve of mine. I could used to use all the emotes, and now I'm limited to a set amount. I loved the emotes, now you're limiting me to a league of legends/fortnite emote menu rip-off. It totally sucks, give me back the old emote menu. Oh and don't you dare use an emote in match, if you do your whole game interface gets stuck and your stuck in the match.

I'm a huge fan of minion masters. But the updates you've just did to your game are enough to just make me quit the game straight up. I was already sort of leaning in the wrong direction since some decks are so annoying and not fun to play against at all, (i'm look at you zen-chi decks!). I don't mind some decks as I know all the deck combinations, but there's a distinct difference between hard and annoying. Many cards don't work the same anymore either and I wouldn't mind changes but the changes are too much and not fun at all. Seriously after these updates I'm ready to stop playing all together.

Hope the devs fix the game. I adore the work, competitiveness, creativity, strategy, literally so many things about this game, hence the amount of hours I've poured into a game and over the years. I'm very passionate and dedicated to this game. But when you do stuff like this it really rubs your dedicated community the wrong way, and personally it just makes me officially want to stop playing all together. Who knows maybe i'll play it but if i do it'll be way less and for very very short and brief periods of time. That's how big a screw up this update was.

Wishing the dev team the best and hope you guys fix stuff and make some big improvements and fixes. I'd even suggest reverting and rolling back changes to the previous version.

---------------------------------------

TLDR:
The game went from a actual good PC game to a mobile port. Absolutely pathetic turning what was once a great game with countless hours into a mobile port. Unbelievable, never heard of a game developer doing this to to their game and downgrading it purposefully so heavily.

Early Access Review
VR Chat is amazing! Simply put it's free.
There's a lot to say about it but really, but I think there's so many reviews out there that sum it all up. Excellent community modding, the player base is that of what you'd expect on the internet. Kids may lie about their age while others not, but really who cares at the end of the day VRChat is a game. I'm glad everyone can enjoy the game and it's experience.

VRChat is what you' expect of the internet too. Nice people, trolls, young and old. The models you can use can be cloned and everyone can be the same thing. Have fun running around as a group of ducks, or bannana's or flat images of anything else you can think of. Yes anything... please refrence: "welcome to the internet" as you can only imagine the crazy, trolly, funny, or really cool things anyone anywhere might think of. Running around as a 8 foot warhammer model breakdancing with a gun and knife in his hand. Another aspect is you can watch videos in VRChat too and people can do the same thing. You can get together with friends while watching crud on the internet, how awesome is that! But you can also walk into random worlds and someone might be playing something not appropriate for minors. Even though the game technically is for 18+ only, you know how the internet is with 'my age is totally 69'. I'm an adult i swear!!! Followed by hears their voice. Yeah my dude totally an adult. But not to get off topic.

We'll take a look from my own personal page. Me personally I'm still fairly new to the game but I've met all sorts of wonderful people already. I've been struggling for years in the past with the worst of worst depression, extreme suicide thoughts in my past and unfortunately this is just stuff you can't make up.. (I'm a lot better now than what I used to be don't worry!). I still have depression, but since I've made it to VRChat it's helped to change my life. I turned to VRChat to find real friends, and in hopes I can find some genuine ones really looking for the same thing. I'm 27 nearly turning 28. Life has been really hard and I never thought i'd get to make any friends at all. But just being briefly in the community I've gained some real genuine friends for life (and I want to continue to make more!). It's been a life changing experience to me and if you play I hope you can have that experience too. Exploring community made worlds which has been an incredible experience, some of which I never would have experienced anywhere else. The community mods are crazy seriously! They are so cool. Exploring worlds and just hanging out here has been mind blowing and just a wonderful experience.

Other things I can say too, for those with bad social skills this game helps. You can find others to communicate with and if you're not comfy this game helps you to open up and improve your chatting skills. Just play it for a couple of weeks and put yourself out there no matter how uncomfortable you are. It helps you to communicate and once you're good enough you'll make friends with people you connect to. That or you can use those skills in real life too and you'll have improved at that too.

VrChat itself does take a little bit of a curve to learn wether on Pc or Oculus but once you understand it better it's great. Just youtube VRChat introduction on youtube lol, aand you'll have wonderful introductions to the world of it.

**As of writing this the game's gotten lots of bad press since an anti-cheat was introduced. I understand that it does change the game somewhat sadly, and ruins different aspects. But at it's core even with being new to the game has been incredible to me and I would highly recommend you check it out. If you have an Oculus or vr controls you can do so much more which is awesome like play mini-golf haha. But pc users like me are limited, that's fine though the experience has been incredible regardless of any of that.

The short version is if you have a pc, play vr chat and explore it's world. I can't believe I am this late to the party too in exploring it, and the community is still kicking great.

Go play it seriously you will love it, give it a real genuine chance. Go to smaller worlds to make friends and you'll seriously see how great of a game it really is. Thanks to the community for being this awesome, for the laughs, for the connections, and for just being this awesome.

This game is triggering. When I click the game will minimize making it nearly unplayable. There are many times when i am sneaking around and the enemies will spot me. Other times i'll be in an isolated room where enemies wouldn't normally hear me and then when i'm trying to make obstacle jumps enemies will come in randomly. The only way to stop them is to terminate all of the enemies in which you are not sure where they are since they are in random rooms.
I get the premise of the game, but what will really set you on fire is if you die once, you have to reset the whole level. So any enemies you killed, respawn, any progress you made getting keycards reset. This could in theory be a fun aspect, but i didn't find it any bit fun as the problems above, minimizing of the game, stealth seems broken, and then enemies when they turn their heads can be random at times. To be fair sometimes no enemies would come other times they would each run i did. Also to knock an enemy out you have to hit them in the back of the head. The hitbox works *most* of the time but the times it dosen't one guy detects you and all of the other enemy npcs rush to you after a shot. You scramble to run but can't get away. You take the one in front of you in a one on one fight then the other enemies arrive and take you out. If you want to restart any time you're out of luck, as you need to find an enemy to kill you to restart, or hop to the main menu and manually restart the level. At least there is a level select for progression. Aiming is pretty accurate too with the pistol so that's nice. Bloom is a little much as spots but the graphics are really nice and I love the sci-fi techy aspect.

Summary: fix the stealth aspect, hitboxes, and make it so enemies won't come to isolated rooms that they wouldn't normally come to because of pure RNG. If you don't have patience don't play this game as it can be triggering. You can walk everywhere and try to knock enemies out but if the hitboxes don't work then you might as well give up the level since you're more than likely dead. Game has good potential but needs better execution. Really sad to say that because this game has a lot of potential to be a really great game.

Totally worth it. This is a must have for your steam library. Please do yourself a favor and just get it. This is one of the few games i paid full price for when it came out. Now you can pick it up for a measly $25. Back then to get the original halo at walmart it was $20 alone.
This series and games is legendary and remastered. The music, the epic fights, multiplayer is all there. Even if that's not your thing, the single player is SOOOOOOO worth it on it's own.
