The closest game today to the original vision that I had for Insurgency two decades ago is Six Days in Fallujah.
I have some design docs and notes for new games, but no finances or time to make them on my own. I tried starting a new studio just a year before the pandemic, but business decisions beyond my control took the wind out of our sails.
I'm focused now on teaching courses for a college Game Design diploma program in Canada, and it's humbling and gratifying to help inspire the next generation of game designers. It's the most rewarding experience in my games career thus far.
