Simple game, easy to pick up, hard to beat!
This game is suprisingy good for what it is, and even tho the graphics are "bad" i really like them as it gives of a certain type of feeling when playing and I think it's pretty nicely styalised.
Progression in the game is very simple, take rock, chop wood, get better rock, chop better wood, get even better rock, chop even better wood and so on but it works as it actually feels nice to progress and isn't too tedious for what it is, and in the end when you actually have nice stuff you progress by defeating Guardians instead which mixes up the endgame!
Mob spawning is pretty simple aswell, they spawn at night from the ground, from challenge pillars you have to activate or some naturally spawning in the world, they dont despawn (Atleast I haven't noticed them doing so) so if you don't kill them they will destroy your base.
While we are on the note of bases, there isnt really a compelling reason to create a base, atleast not a ground one, the waves of mob will probably become too much in the endgame and your stuff will most likely be destroyed by them, so permanent base build are unecessary.
The game is quite difficult, despite having good gear the enemies can do huge amounts of damage and the bosses (Spawning night 3/4/5 and 6/8/10+ depending on difficulty) can 1-shot or almost 1-shot you even tho you might feel like a god in the game, I don't think this is a negative per se tho since difficulty is kindof a part of the game (and there are different difficulty levels)!

Overall I give the game a 8.5/10, I really like it and it's fun to play just casually if you are bored!
