I used to love this game - it's in my top 5 most played. But after the recent soft relaunch, sheer amount of bugs, and now adding lame IPs (Ghostface?!) as a shameless money grab? What happened? This game is supposed to be a 19th-century extraction horror. The brilliance of this game was how atmospheric it was. One of the things I loved about this game was that, after nearly 500 hours, I was still getting jumpscared.
I'm disgusted that the devs are stooping to Fortn*te-level crossover events.

Something about naming the Baboon politician "Senator OO-OO-AA-AA-OO" feels wrong....

Well that made me hate candles

Wow. I've put a lot of hours into the original DF, but the Steam edition is so worth it.
Gorgeous graphics, great soundtrack, intuitive interface.

10/10 Recommend.

Imagine MarioKart, but no kart, no mario, physically grueling, and just as fun and competitive.

I'm not really into Rougelikes. Noita changed my mind.

My favorite things:
- Fantastic art and colors
- Great soundtrack
- Engaging gameplay
- LOTS of spells/items
- Fun spell customization system
- Deep and intriguing lore (haven't found much yet, but what I have found is interesting)

You will die -a lot- and be forced to start from the beginning. I think the most fun part of the game, for me, is seeing how much farther I can get than my last run. I also really enjoy mixing up the different spells to find new and crazy combinations.
Being a RL, every time you start over you enter a new, totally random world. Potential items, weapons, spells, and perks are entirely random. The randomization is the perfect balance of the starkly novel and the comfortably familiar, in my opinion.

Overall, I really like this game. It's simple enough to get into, and complex enough to keep you hooked.
