The whole Monster Prom series takes genre that you'd not expect to work in multiplayer and turns it into a wholesome and positive adventure, especially with a group of friends.

Monster Roadtrip breaks the boxes of the series by adding a wider story progression, with awesome art and events.

Also you can still date monsters, which is what you want anyway.

This game is GOTY worthy. It is really easy to understand, it has unassuming graphics, no complex control. But damn it does everything perfectly.

I recommend this game, but I will not encourage you to go buy it now rather to keep an eye on it for the future.

There's a lot of good elements both with the looks (theme, art style, looks, effects) and also gameplay, with the way the system is allowing everyone to get upgrades and elements in a lot more friendly manners than most of the other games of that genre.

But currently the game is lacking OOMF. Both the gun sound and the animations don't really gives you a satisfying feedback which do matter. The movement also feels a bit floaty, which also lead to the the lack of feedback I feel.

It is an awesome relaxing single player version of Carcassone the boardgame, but still bringing a challenging puzzle system in a beautiful package.
