Great game, nothing comes close to scratching the same itch as this game. TBH after the first 30 hours or so I have mostly played with mods mostly BeX.

Short and fun

It was a short fun game. 100% it because it was right up my ally. Crawled the forums and got to know early access promised even more features but we got something that was cut down. Even in this state the game is quite fun and enjoyable. Will try the early access version just to see what could have been.

For the price I would say this is a good game. Going into it, I didn't expect much but now 29 hours in and having completed I'm guessing most of it, I would say it was a fun ride. Sure its not as deep as maybe something like starsector but for what it is, it is good casual fun and manages to hold your attention. Main draw is exploration more than combat or resource management. TBH after a certain point once you have enough resources you can just buy out everything from a trader except 1 of each item and sell back everything at a higher price than what you paid making resource management kinda useless. Not gonna lie, cheesy as hell and probably a bug but man did it tickle the good part of my monkey brain lol. Went on a half hour spree creating resources out of a thin air from 5 different traders.

Overall quite fun game, if you are into space sims would recommend 10 out 10. Don't expect huge replayability though, main attraction to me was exploration and not even higher difficulty new runs didn't really hold my attention for that long, maybe something to come back in a year and play again once you have forgotten most of it.

This game is so good. I still don't get half of it after reading guides and watching videos but by god this game is just pure dopamine when you start getting good squads out. Its hard but the satisfaction when you manage to get going is even better.

Even though it has it's ups and down, I feel overall the story is pretty good if you are into this genre

Playing This War Of Mine Father's Promise DLC I have been completely blown away. Even after years of playing this is the first time in a while I have been so deeply attached to a character and deeply affected by his story to actually cry. Kudos to you 11 Bit Studios and thank you for making this masterpiece.
