BEFORE DLC

Best played as a solo experience exploring. Actual dungeon/castle crawling is better co-op though.
As it stands, everything before endgame areas is a 8/10. After that the game drops to a 5/10 for me. If they make endgame enemies do more fair damage considering their insane movesets then endgame would become 7/10. Removing the final boss second phase would make endgame 8/10.

DLC

Shadow of the Erdtree has made me realize I have a skill issue and that the endgame for the base game is actually 8/10. I still do believe some enemies do too much damage, more specifically some regular fodder enemies and some higher tier enemies. Boss damage I'm okay with, but with 65%ish defenses these regular enemies should not be doing that much damage. Otherwise, I consider the entire game as a whole a solid 8 now ever since my skills have improved. The DLC itself I consider a 9. Bayle is a 10/10 just because of Igon.

Buy if you like to be absolutely stylish and dunk on enemies.

This game is a masterclass in action, alongside Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta. People call these character action games, I like to call them Badass Simulators. One thing holding this game back is the level design, as its mostly city type areas and the second half of the game is generic demon area. A few bosses like Nidhogg and Gilgamesh are straight up trash. Teleporting mobs, really annoying. Give me my shield knights from DMC4 instead of these jerkwads.

Also, mods. Amazing visual mods and outstanding gameplay mods.
