Short version: Beautiful, compelling, satisfying - 10/10

Long Version:
Ghost of Tsushima is a beautifully crafted game in all senses and I could recommend it on any of these merits individually

Visuals: It's beautiful, every frame and location feels like an opportunity for a photograph (and I took over a hundred in photo mode during my playthrough). The quantity of foliage and particles really help make it feel lush, the different map regions have diverse styles and it means the art direction gets many occasions to stand out

Combat: Swordplay feels heavy and satisfying, has two very contrasting styles of stealth and head on attack, both of which have gadgets and gear to compliment your choice of approach. Parry and dodge timing feel generous enough to accomplish whilst giving 'perfect' parries/dodges some extra benefits.

Equipment/Cosmetics: Plenty of upgradeable armours, each with skills that compliment different playstyles. Also multiple skill trees to expand your character in your chosen direction (you can unlock them all by the end though). There are also tons of cosmetic helmets and masks, armour dyes and 'sword kits' which modify the look of your katana and tanto sheath

Map/Activities: The map is large and expansive and you'll have a horse to explore it, there are plenty of collectibles (not horrible to find though and you could locate them all without a guide using a particular piece of gear) some are climbing puzzles, some are button combination puzzles, and plenty are just finding objects

Direction: Cinematics and dialogue feel crafted with intent, the camera angles in particular frame subjects very well (in real time) allowing you to indulge fully in the story and voice acting. The game features a black and white Kurosawa mode which is like a visual overhaul to add the feel of vintage samurai cinema to the game (also affects audio, adds film grain etc. best experienced with the Japanese dub and subtitles)

Honourable mentions:
-The map navigation mechanic is -genius-, whatever objective you have tagged has the wind blow towards it (very visual) and is the least immersion breaking form of map nav I've seen in a game, more like this please.
-Legends mode, the multiplayer online section is fairly approachable and enjoyable even for a solo player, maybe not expecting to clear the raids alone or some higher tier missions but quickplay is easy
-New Game+ contains some extra goodies not available in the main game to keep your second run fresh and new
-DLC (Included anyway, but is an optional area) is extremely worth doing, it's not wacky like some games dlc, it is routed in the main characters lore and brings a lot of context and backstory to the tale you already know. Whilst available at the start of Act 2, I would wait until post-game to tackle it (I entered between act 2 and 3 and it turned out to be harder than act 3 once I returned)

Honestly a pleasure every second, I had a ton of fun and got to experience a truly masterful demonstration of what a video game can be, TY for bringing the work to PC, Sony ~
