Easily one of the best games I have ever played. Be warned though, it will punish you and you will need to be comitted.

WOW this game is amazing, there's a tiny bit of a learning curve but i got in the swing of things pretty fast and didn't know any linux or unix code.

The only negative reviews i've seen were about glitches from right after release, but so far i havent experienced any errors or glitches.

I feel compelled to delete my previous review, as every subject I touched on has either been changed or removed.

This game has lost any sense of direction and has lost a large chunk of its loyal fanbase due to continuous updates that eitehr remove content or reduce performance.

So some of you may be saying that this game is just a clone of Terraria or even Edge Of Space, but it really isn't. If you want an awesome game that has endless worlds, a great GUI, awesome monsters, cool npcs, Amazing dungeons, and extreme player customization, then this is the game for you. I really just love this game. It is so different from anything I have ever played before. The worlds are endless which is great for explorers.

For the first five hours I spent my time simply killing monsters, exploring planets, and raiding dungeons, which are all verry uniqe from eachother. I had not even realized that teh game had so much more to offer!. After doing the starter quests and killing the first boss I really got into progression of the game. Nothing is ever too easy. After upgrading my starmap, which allows you to travel to the beta sector with higher level planets, i immediatly flew to the nearest level 2 planet. I was shocked. The loot was better and the game had suddenly gotten MUCH harder. You dont realize that you have put in so much effort into the game until you look back to earlier sectors and realize how easy they were, and how you have progressed so far!

Overall, I really enjoy this game. I am looking forward to future updates and hopefully more quests. I really want to see the Devs continue to make the game even better and add whole new features.

MODS

The game is very friendly twards the modding community, similar to Kerbal Space Program. You dont need other third party programs to get mods like you do in Minecraft. If you ever get tired of the game or feel like you have beat it, all you need to do is instal some mods, like the ship upgrades mod, the more quests mod, or even mods that allow you to build your entire ship! This is only the tip of the iceberg, I look forward to seeing what the amazing community comes up with next.
