A fun and charming experience. I quite enjoy the humor, writing, and level design. I highly recommend.

Hark the Ghoul scratches and Itch that's been begging to be scratched for quite a long time. A strong mixture between the classic Dungeon Crawling of Classics like Arx Fatalis and Shadow Tower with the Retro-Modern Aesthetics of titles like Lunacid and Dread Delusion.

It brings a charm of it's own, with it's grim and gothic setting, Hark The Ghoul invites players to explore a world on the verge of fire and flame. With a strong emphasis on movement and exploration, there's never a corner that hasn't been explored.

Hark the Ghoul is surely a title to captivate Dungeon Crawler fans across the globe, a little critter worth keeping your eye on in 2025 -

Legitimately one of my choices for Game of the Year.

After dozens and dozens of hours in Early Access, I can without a doubt say the love and passion put into Dread Delusion makes it stand out as one of the Retro-revival genres biggest hits.

From it's ambient open world full of mystery and danger to it's comforting crafting and housing system, Dread Delusion creates a world where any player can log in, create the character they wish to roleplay, and just experience a Narrative driven.

One thing worth mentioning, if you purchase looking for in depth combat, similar to things like Elder Scrolls...this isn't it. Dread Delusion takes a step in a more exploration and narrative based lane.

And with that being said, I don't believe it's fair to judge the game for combat or combat related mechanics since it's not selling you on those, it's promising you a rich narrative driven open world where your choices matter.

And it delivers on that promise.

I cannot express how much I love this game. There's nothing better than blasting some Turnstile, smoking two cigarettes, taking my Bedtime meds, and playing a few rounds of Combat Master.

Highly Recommend for folks looking for a Free 2 Play, well balanced CoD Clone with a like of unique goofy features.

Crow Country is a Gem, a true masterpiece. A throwback Indie Horror Survivor title that could easily convince general audiences that it's a game straight from the 90s itself.

It has such charm and presence in it's graphical fidelity, creating entirely unique lighting and shadows and subverting the norm of modern "psx" graphics. It does not emulate PSX era graphics, it legitimately recreates them.

I would strongly recommend Crow Country, it's a game that over the past month has created a welcoming and warm community of both casual players, from streamers to cosplayers, and hardcore fans, from speedrunners to challenge runs.

10 out of 10 Crow-Zookas.

Wow, what a fun experience! Only played an hour for our weekly indie showcase but I really can't wait to dive back in for more and experience the mysterious world of Paper Trail. Such a unique and beautifully crafted experience.

Played the frick out of the game in Itch. io

It's another grand slam from solo developer Scumhead, nothing else to say. Scumhead quickly became one of my favorites when I discovered their catalog, since then it's just been constant hit after hit.

Franzen is a dark fantasy RPG that takes place in a world that's full of both Quirk and Quarrel. You play as a band of misfit adventures seeking to uncover a growing calamity that puts their world at even more risk.

It's a short game, but doesn't drop in quality at any point. All the NPCs have mostly meaningful dialog, the NPC interactions are all well scripted, the combat, bosses, and general plot are all quite on theme for Scumhead's games but work incredibly well for a game that's replicating those old early 2000s turn of the century RPGs.

Absolutely worth checking out for fans of the older JRPG style Final Fantasy games, as well as fans of general RPG maker titles.

Absolute blast of a game. Held off on writing my review until giving it some more playtime (ended up buying it on two accounts by accident lol) but it's fantastic. An amazing little open-world Metroidvania with a lot of action to find yourself thrown into, fun minigames, fantastically designed side content, and much more.

43 hours in, and most of these sessions were played in huge sessions. It's such a fantastic game, and every update brings new life and entertainment.

The playerbase here is small, but we can tell that developers (Duoyi Games) truly listen to our feedback and suggestions.

A Roguelite First Person Shooter that has hints of RPG elements? Sign me up. Hundreds of amazingly fun and mechanically unique weapons

After 40+ hours I can safely say the game is worth picking up, especially now that there's a good variety of characters and content.

There's a level of uniqueness and joy that came from our 2 and a half hours with Concluse 2.

It's a game that tricks you into thinking it's going to be another modernized PSX graphics Silent Hill clone. That it's going to rely on genre stereotypes and provide the minimum. But it's not. It's a game that, as soon as the facade breaks, becomes it's own uniquely dark, twisted, and truly fun survival horror experience.

What the game lacks in clear direction (for the most part, I'll get back to that in a second) it makes up for in double by having levels quite worth exploring, if not for the atmosphere but for the subtle visual story telling. For many dots to be connected, and for a beauty in the soft yet gritty textures of the world of Concluse 2.

With that being said, my only actual issue with the game...bugs aside, I don't touch bug discussions I don't fault any team of this size for bugs or anything, but yeah my only ACTUAL issue is the game has a bit of a hard time deciding how difficult it wants to be at times. Some puzzles and levels are grossly simple while others are so out of the box that it creates a sense of being lost in the sauce.

Let's make a hypothetical here. One puzzle might be "A Guest in the hotel needs a glass of water at room 420!" and you find next to that note a glass of water. Cool, simple, right? Now another puzzle might be having to use an item you picked up 20 minutes or so prior and was told had a single purpose to interact with a physical entity in a manor that's only subtly hinted at in an entirely missable note with no "use" or interact prompt....yeah I mean...yeah...you know what boss fight I'm talking about.

But yeah, at the end of the day I'd fully recommend checking out Concluse 2, and probably Concluse 1, I know I'm going to pick it up today to see how far the team has come since their first rodeo, but for what it's worth I think they have an incredibly fantastic little gem to be proud of here.

I don't do number reviews or anything, just go play it. It's fun.
