Absolutely nails the Mad Max aesthetic and tone. The story itself is just okay, and could have benefited from some more character development for the side cast, but the core gameplay and vehicular combat are top notch and very addictive. The voice acting is also a definite highlight, especially for Max and Chumbucket. Optional missions can also be hit or miss; raiding enemy camps is fun, but hunting down scavenging locations is repetitive and gets dull after a while. Also, what a cute doggo.

This game is a major disappointment. The combat is slooooooooowwwwww and feels like your character is wading through a sea of molasses. There are no funimation dubs, so the japanese voice acting sounds weird and awful. Seriously, Goku sounds like a prepubescent child. The only reason I haven't refunded this game is because I got it off of humble bundle instead of steam; at this point, all I can do is keep playing and hope that the stockholm syndrome kicks in soon.

Pros:
Can have Android 18 in your party

Cons:
Cannot play as Android 18

Despite this, my pure love for Android 18 will not be extinguished

Y'all gotta stop with this peer to peer BS and put up some proper servers ASAP.

The first time I started up this game, I fully expected to hate it and refund it within 20 minutes. And I almost did. But, despite its buggy nature, atrocious voice acting and all around lack of polish, there's something doggedly charming about the whole experience. I wound up enjoying the game quite a bit. Fighting dinos is fun, even when they completely bug out or become bamboozled after you jump on top of an abandoned vehicle in order to avoid them. Your objective isn't always clear, and there's a complete lack of a plot until about three hours in. So, yes, this game has a lot of flaws, but it's still an intriguing and fun little game.

Cool idea completely ruined by some of the most boring gameplay you'll ever have the misfortune of experiencing.

I REALLY want to like this game, but the fact is that it never should have left early access in its current state. To be clear, the game's difficulty is not a factor in my negative review. When the camera ceases to function altogether and all the text vanishes from your HUD, then your game is broken and not fit to be released to the public.

Project Warlock is a pretty fantastic little FPS that serves as a throwback to the days of Doom and Quake, but also manages to stand on its own. Gameplay is fluid and fast, but if you try to rush through at a breakneck pace, you'll end up as a pile of guts on the ground. There are tons of little easter eggs to hunt down and find, including references to everything from Duke Nukem to the X-Files.

On the down side, there are a frustrating lack of checkpoints, especially in the later levels. Some levels are confusing, which can lead to you wandering around for minutes on end, desperately searching for the switch or key card you need to get the hell out of there.

Overall, this is a really good game at a great price. Recommended, even if it's not on sale.

I'm always wary of a franchise-based game timed to coincide with the release of a feature film, but Terminator: Resistance is actually pretty fun. The gameplay is classic FPS meets Fallout-lite. Much of the game takes a light focus on stealth, as only certain weapons can harm the Terminators, and your fragile bones are easily snapable. But, this all leads up to an outstanding final level that lets you run unleashed and gun down as many T-800s as your heart desires.

I found the game had a lot of issues with running properly; even on the lowest graphic settings, the game would, at least once per level, stutter like a virginal hummingbird attempting to flirt for the first time.

The characters and writing were nice. Side characters were likeable and had well-written backstories, even if the voice acting gets pretty iffy at times.

The gameplay is good, as is the overall experience, but the game's technical issues hold it back from being truly great.

Remnant is surprisingly addictive and fun despite its difficulty. This difficulty can be assuaged by having the right people join your session, however. Since I was constantly being joined by high level players, I breezed through the main campaign in what seemed like a pretty short time. The whole campaign took 10 hours to complete, though I suspect that number would have been higher had I been forced to go it alone. This one is definitely better with friends who have your back. Since the run time is so short, I can't quite recommend it at full price. I got it on sale, so I felt like I got a good amount of money for the time it gave me.

Cons include the fact that you can't communicate with your team members via text, and the lack of mission markers meant I was constantly getting turned around. I suspect at least 90 minutes of my playthrough were dedicated to replaying sections I had already gone through. Not to mention that the story isn't all that deep.

All in all, a good game, but one that could benefit from more content.
