Fun game! If you like Hotline Miami you will probably enjoy this game as well. My only real gripe is sometimes the enemies will hear you from all the way across the map.

The more you play this game, you come to realize this is just a grinding simulator while praying to the RNG gods. Repetitive over time as well. In this game your skill doesn't necessarily matter at all. You can have the perfect relic setup on each character and still get shafted by the long schlong of the dice roll.

Lets say you do everything correct
Max stats, Upgrades and levels on your characters.
Excellent Relic setup on all of them
Solidified Positive traits and the least detrimental negative traits.

You enter the battle and immediately get shafted on all attack rolls because of the RNG rolls. You tell yourself, "It's okay, surely my defensive rolls will be good" *Spoilers* they are not. Now all of your characters are dying. You cast heals *bad roll so you heal for least possible ammount. OH now i'm REALLY in trouble. *Enemy lands a CRITICAL on attack roll* "Wow two of my dudes are dead now." . I'll try to escape fight *fails because of dice roll* Your entire party is dead. Now you must rebuild an entire party by doing the same dungeons you have already done many times before to rebuild a party to do the same crap all over again.

This is not a game of skill, it is a battle of attrition. I have many more games to play and this will not be one of them.

Only play this game if you are addicted to gambling.

This game is insanely underrated! Reading the reviews after finishing the game i am baffled at all of the people talking about not knowing where to go or what the games story is about. It's almost like they didn't even bother doing any of the dialogue or reading the notes in the game. This game has AWESOME lore and is one of the best souls-likes i have played. Also one of the more difficult ones until you get the combat flow down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Thank goodness for Deadlock to scratch that paragon itch now.

Very fun game. Quite the hidden gem and super underrated! Worth every penny!

Too easy. Did a Demon Bell + Charmless run just to make sure i wasn't hallucinating and it was a cake walk.

Overrated for sure.

Autism.

Pixar-Souls. Master difficulty was a decent challenge. Game is pretty short though so probably get it on sale.
