Beating the last boss is not the best part of this game. Looping your runs trying to get the highest level completed until you become a god is the true goal imo. I will always come back to this game at some point in time because of the pure power fantasy.

Absolutely Recommend ! Amazing shooter that wears its inspiration of F.E.A.R. on its sleeve. If you like fast paced stylish fps combat with intelligent AI enemies, you are doing yourself a disservice by not playing this game. Optimization is fantastic as well.

I play a ton of crpg games. This is hands down one of the worst crpg's i have ever played.
Lots of bugs for a supposed "Enhanced Plus Edition"

Absolutely horrible writing. If it was voice acted my ears would have been bleeding. Gameplay was just okay.

Bit too easy if you are familiar with Souls-Vania games already. Was pretty good until the last section with the poison gas everywhere.

Hidden gem, severely underrated. Hope for Death's Gambit 2.

Wait for them to release a complete edition that includes all dlc , so you don't have to buy all the the addons for what amounts to basically a fully priced video game. Also classes and races are locked behind the dlc (Pretty lame). I would love to play the workshop campaign modules but I can't because most of them require the dlc's to play them.

One of those games that just sat on my wish-list for a while hesitant to pick it up. Finally got around to playing and wish i had sooner!

Very fun metroidvania with great boss fights.

Although it plays slower than the first game, it is better for it. No more digital input. Now the game has analog.(allowing for precise movement) Characters no longer have the same feeling combos like the first game. Every character for the most part feels like it has its own unique attacks with unique angle trajectories. BIG upgrade over the first. I will say though, getting used to the slime mechanic is a bit troublesome for people with muscle memory of other games.
