It's everything I liked about CK2 with the bad stuff trimmed out and a much slicker/friendlier UI to boot. I'm going to put a lot of hours in on this one...

This enhanced version brings back all the nostalgia of playing the original, with fewer of the frustrations of the first time around.

A wonderful watery world that I keep coming back to time and time again.

I would say that this game is worth it for the amazing soundtrack alone. The fact that it's also a challenging, 8-bit inspired action game with precise controls and an unforgettable atmosphere is just a bonus on top.

After the disaster and dissapointment that was Sword of the Stars 2, Endless Space came out of nowhere to redeem the good name of 4X games. Relatively easy to learn and play, with a super-slick interface. It still has some lingering issues like repetitive combat, but the framework for greatness is there. If thinking of MOO2 makes you go "naw man I'm not crying, I've just got something in my eye", give this a shot.

You know that one hard level in a good game, the one where it takes you half an hour to complete and after you have conquered it you pump your fist in the air in celebration?
