Probably the best DLC I have ever seen. Incredably well incorporated into the main story!

Stormgate has some neat multiplayer but thats it basicly. Especially the control mechanics are very neat and a step in the right direction. However, its also way too resource demanding for the grafics and gameplay that is happening for some reason. My specs arent that bad, but i still sometimes drop from about 144 fps down to under 10 for unknown reasons (even at the start of the game when there are almost no units). I even play at lowest settings while i can run stuff like Cyberpunk 2077 just fine at stable 144 fps medium settings. There is a lot of optimization that needs to be done aparently.

In an age of grim darkness there is a hero. This darkness is the age of microtransactions and greed by gaming companies. The hero is a company that just throws a game out there, that is a love letter to gaming, good story telling and freedom of doing what you want.

This game is Baldurs Gate 3 and what a game it is. I had very high expectations and usually those are not met, which I was used to before. But this game managed to even exeed my expectations. Yes it has still its flaws. Some little bugs here, some odd interaction there and a wacky camera at times. I was very critical about that at first, but all of that is forgiven for this game has insane depth of story telling, character developement and just sheer joy of gameplay that can result in baffeling interactions, utter chaos or even pure astonishment. This unfolds more and more as you progress through the game. And if this was a concern to you: the 1st act is not the only polished one. I would even say its just a taste of what is to come.

Here some spoilerfree examples (I will make them "spoilers", if you dont want to know anything):
I pickpocketed someone and tryed to talk my way out of it. Cause I failed the check, the whole little town I was in broke into chaos and two factions tryed to kill each other, in the end resulting in really interesting interactions afterwards.
Then there was a "premature" ending to the whole story which skipped like probably a third of the game or even more! Then there was a whole region that you had to discover, either by sheer luck or some well thought trickery. Or the moment where I drank someone to death...

In short... There are a lot of super cool interactions and unpredictable outcomes, which are sooo satisfying. You most of the time know there are so many interactions that its mind boggeling, how much effort the creators must have put into this game to realize those. Things that many people probably dont even ever see... This exact design philosophy is what makes this game a masterpiece. I would even say, that its the best game I ever played.

The gameplay doesnt come short either! The DnD 5e System is beeing followed most of the time. So DnD fans just feel home here. There are some exceptions to the rules tho and sometimes it has been spiced up a little bit. For the fighting part: The game is surely a little complex at first, but it is not overly complicated and always follows clear rules. For newcomers its probably still a bit overwhelming, so just take your time a little bit and I promise you that it is absolutely worth it to figure everything out.

In conclusion:
I can without a single doubt recommend Baldurs Gate 3 to anyone who even remotely likes games.
A love letter to a love letter of a game towards gaming itself just fits, so there you have it!

Very chill game with a lot attention to detail. It is also pretty unique in its gameplay beeing somewhat between a lot of roleplay, financial simulation and interesting brewing mechanic. If you wanna have a nice evening without a lot of pressure, brew some stuff, this is it for u.

Also some neat little references and cool dialoges in here. :)

Its the deepest moba out there. If you like complex mechanics and want much more diverse heros then most mobas have (*looking at that riot game*), then you will like Dota 2. Fun fact: Its the grandfather of moba, cause it originally started the trend in Warcraft 3...

Whoever dislikes this game because of the server issues is delusional. Its absolutely normal that a company trys to min-max server efficiency.

What REALLY matters, is the game itself. And let me tell you... Oho what a game it is. Diablo 3 doesnt even get close to it. Its absolutely insane how much content is in this game. I have 54 hours now and have only seen 3 continents yet really. Never mind exploring them. And every one of them is special in design and absolutely beautiful.

Its free... Try it yourself, you wont regret it. Especially if you try it a bit later, when servers are no problem anymore.

Havent been that hyped about a game AFTER playing it for a really long time...

The best single player shooter I was able to play so far...
Everything is just point on imho.
The soundtrack is incredible.
The gameplay is super smooth and satisfying.
Even an experienced shooter fan will have a kinda hard time
on the highest of difficulties if he/she doesnt learn how to
properly play the game.

All in all just a solid piece of software.
666/666 would smash some demons again!
