This game is just amazing, the music, the graphics, the gameplay loop, everything about this game is just solid, one of my favorite games (P.S Very addicting)

THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN'T PLAYED THE DLCS, JUST A WARNING.

This game brought me back to FPS games, had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast playing it the first time back in march of 2020 and still having a blast, love ID software and their wizardry

The music by Mick Gordon is just the best, and an overall improvement from DOOM 2016's music, sadly he parted ways with ID software after a problem with the OST not being delivered on time, but the 2 new composers David Levy and Andrew Hulshult are equally as good as Mick Gordon, they dont steal his style, instead they make their own style, and thats why i love them.

The gameplay loop is just amazing, the best fps shooter of all time, high mobility combat, glory kills to replenish health, flamebelch for armor, chainsaw for ammo, its just perfect.

DOOM Eternal's multiplayer mode: Battlemode, is still a fun gamemode, although the main problem i have with it is that literally when i come across someone they just leave the lobby fearing they might lose. Basically 2v1, Slayer vs Demons, the slayer has full gear, the demons have powerups (haste and armored) and demon summons some of them help the slayer unintentionally like the Maykr drone (because they drop tons of health upon headshotting them). The demons must cooperate to defeat the slayer, but winning as the Slayer requires skill.

The DLC's are really good, there are 2 DLCs: The Ancient Gods part 1 and TAGP2 (ill be naming them TAG for obvious reasons)
Both TAG1 and TAG2 have 3 levels, but TAG2 has a boss level.

TAG1 is the hardest of the 2 DLCs, the first level is ocean themed (UAC Atlantica), beautiful rain particles, and a really good homage to DOOM 2016's level design (really UAC themed, as you can see by the name lol)
This level is really hard, you need focus in order to complete this level, fast paced shooting, some arenas have tons of verticality, and its really good.
The end of UAC Atlantica has 2 marauders spawn in and you must kill them in order to proceed to the 1st real demon wave, the next wave contains atleast 8 heavy demons and others are fodder, the 3rd wave has 2 Barons, probbably more heavies than fodder, and the last wave has 2 Tyrants and a couple of irritating demons like the carcass.

The 2nd level, Blood Swamps, isn't what you think by its name, the level design is strange, instead of the usual hell color (Red, Fire) Its a strange green tint with no red, some of the architecture look like are built from Sentinels that were trapped in the swamps and obviously some are hell designs. The level has tons of rotting corpses, dead trees, everything covered in hellish plant life, really good design.
The main area of this level has 2 routes, you go to the left trial or to the right trial, its your choic.This level is also hard but in my opinion is not as hard as UAC Atlantica (albeit, some arenas are really hard, like the Possessed Baron arena and the buffed marauder in the left trial) The right trial has you following a wolf avoiding toxic damage from the enviroment.
Also a new demon is introduced in this level, The Possessor (The Spirit) Which possesses demons makes the demon have resistances to your weapons and not health boosts.

The end of Blood Swamps is just you fighting against 4 boxes lol. After you defeat them, you just use the totem thingy in the middle of the arena and the level is finished, cutscene starts, thats it, wont go into detail with the cutscene.

The Holt, corruped urdak, cool level design, maykr themed and a dead world after what you done back in the main campaign.
Hardest level in TAG1, some arenas are tricky af, and the level introduces you to another new enemy the Blood Maykr, these guys will ruin your day if you let them hit you, they have 4 attacks, a Melee javelin shove, Melee Javelin smash, Cross attack (deals 75 damage on nightmare) and the Javelin throw (Probbably the same damage as the cross attack, not sure).
All i gotta say is, this level has an interesting level design, its hard as ♥♥♥♥♥ and at the end you have to fight 2 Tyrants, one is normal and the other is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ POSSESSED,after you kill either one of the Tyrants a Doom Hunter spawns and a Blood Maykr spawns in.
The end of The Holt is fighting Samur Maykr (Samuel Hayden in maykr form) after you defeat him a cutscene plays and the end of Tag 1 leaves you with a cliff hanger.
