Ignore the BR mode, ignore cosmetics. You don't need them.

The 3v3 and 6v6 modes are MORE than enough to stand on their own and are really good fun. The mechs move like Armored Cores from various generations (4, 5, and 6 mostly), the weapons are responsive and punchy, and the designs themselves are a really nice blend of many mecha franchises, with a particular presence of the post 2000s era Gundam designs.

Early Access Review
Having put around 20~ hours in the demo and now 20 more into playtesting, and now who knows how many more as Early Access begins, I can firmly say this game is excellent. It wears its influences on its sleeves. An intense love of the genre is felt in this game, an ode to STALKER more than ADACA was. It's full of its own things to say, its own politics, and its own unique story and setting. More than worth the asking price.

Delightful little hour long horror experience. A delicious bite of good food.

Does everything the base game does but better. Any nitpicks I may have had with the way dungeons and stuff worked in the base game are completely obliterated. As always, a From DLC is harder and better than the base product.

Absolutely stunning stuff. Some of the best vibes any game has ever had. Enchanting gameplay on top of that just elevates this to a real piece of art.

An insane game for insane people. Wash dishes.

Very much like a bite of highly concentrated and creatively focused "Voices of the Void" mundane work horror. A weird setting, cool art direction, and fascinating narrative make this game a pretty hefty recommend from me.

Early Access Review
Disregard recent reviews. The game is neither abandoned nor bad. This game is quite good and under a heavy code rework at the moment. Recent reviews are entitled morons mad that the primary developer helped a friend make a similar project.

The first entry in the Armored Core franchise in about ten years, and a grand return it is. Armored Core Six is an absolute triumph of gameplay and art direction. Visuals and voice acting create at incredible atmosphere and characters you can just fall in love with (some literally, I see you out there). I'll be remembering some of these missions on my death bed. A dark horse contender for Fromsoft's best game, and my personal choice for the title. My call for GOTY 2023.

ADACA is a very interesting game. A love letter to some of the greatest hits of the genre, like Half Life, Halo, and STALKER. The campaign is cool, if a little fast. The real bounty this game offers is in the Zone Patrol mode, which plays like the magnificent lovechild of STALKER and Outer Wilds. I am at any given time in the Zone taking notes in Google Docs and also keeping my eyes open for enemies, which can and will put me down very fast if I don't have the drop on them. The mysteries of the Zone are intriguing, and the setting is fascinating. A very cool game I highly recommend to STALKER enjoyers, Half Life enjoyers, and oddly enough folks who love Outer Wilds style puzzles and exploration.
