This game was something else, the best description I can make is that its a combination of Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, DMC & Bayonetta. If you love one or all of those games buy NieR now.

This game may well be a solid 9 / 10 aside from a couple graphical issues with the resolution in full screen (what game launches now-a-days without a hiccup). To fix the resolution issue I had to download some open source software called Borderless Gaming, either buy it through Steam or download the installer from their Github page, then add Neir: Automata to the favourite list and every time you launch the game it'll be put into a borderless window mode that will fix the 1080p resolution.

Im running an intel core i5-4690K and a gigabyte 970 and I was able to play on maximum settings without a problem, constantly over 60 FPS and no screen tearing. I also played with a controller which I cannot emphasize makes the game way more enjoyable, but this is a guideline for any third person slasher like this anyway.

Although it wasn't recorded for Steam, I've played Metal Gear Rising: Revengance at least 8 times on my xbox 360. For me Metal Gear Rising is one of the best Slashers I've ever played and I can't get over how good the combat is, I love the parry which requires a bit more input than the usual brain dead button smash and how awesome you can look because of these more complicated machanics, and its for those reasons that I really feel like a badass when I let 'er rip!

Just realised I wasn't in the numbers of people reccomending this game.


Honestly tho, you can replay this game 100 times and it just cannot get repetitive or old. It's actually a perfect game.

I am bad at this. But I love it.

What wasthat giant sonic boom halfway through the game? And what was it caused by?

How werethey turning people in zombies? Did it have something to do with the human tube containers we see?

What were theydoing with all the people in the final part of the facility?

Just gotta wait for dem fan-theories!

This is one of the best stealth games I've ever played, no doubt, it's literally like playing an episode of Samurai Jack.

XCOM 2 is a terrible game because it ruined Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within for me. I can barely force myself to play them anymore because XCOM 2 is such a huge step up.
