A truely unique, fun, and challenging RTS!
Okay, let's dive right into why you should buy this game:

1) If you loved both Homeworld games, then you'll love this. By the way, the game includes both the Remastered versions of 1 and 2, the original versions, and the MP (currently in Beta).

2) Clearly a great effort was made to refine the visuals and audio of the game. The gameplay mechanics and UI have also been altered, but do not interfere heavily from the original concept. It's non-intrusive in my opinion and makes the game just that much more enjoyable.

3) A growing modding community. I have high hopes for the community, but at the moment some creative, useful, and just overal interesting sets of mods are available from the Workshop. Some include reskins, reinterfacing, unofficial patches (some of these are specific to the hardcore fans of the originals), and even a multiplayer map pack (which claims to have 130+ maps!).

Please note that there is much more that could be said, but it is fruitless explaining it all in text like this.
I recommend that you watch some gameplay footage if you'd like more info, or even feel free to ask me. I'm sure to put more hours into this game.

I bought this on sale out of curiosity.
I went in on the deal under the assumption that this was similar to Homeworld 2, which is awesome by the way. Damn, was I ever wrong.

This was not even worth the 66% discount, for the following reasons:
1. It runs terribly (granted, my computer aint special but still)
2. Horrible UI. Seriously, don't block the screen like that
3. No ambient sounds. Yes, nobody can hear you in space, but that doesn't mean that there should be little to no sounds at all!
4. Uninteresting story. Yup, this one really did it for me.

There should be no reason to explain further.
Only 20 minutes of gameplay was all it took too.

Don't bother buying this under any circumstances.
If you want a great space-based strategy game, look onwards from this garbage.

Hi, big Splinter Cell fan here.

Die hard fans, including myself, will tell you that Chaos Theory is the most significant episode in the series. I can't recommend this enough for newcomers to the series or stealth-action genre. If you're looking to scratch some retro-gaming itch or gaming nostalgia in general, then rest assured that this game has aged surprisingly well even after all these years.

Please note that you'll most likely need to download a hi-res/widescreen patch to make the game function properly without a crash-to-desktop here and there. Don't worry though, because there are multiple community guidelines to explain the process. It's very straightforward; just download the patch and paste the files into the Chaos Theory folder in program files.

This isn't a game that should be compared to STALKER.
Yes, they're both awesome, but they're also unique.

This game has its own way of displaying the absolute despair that is humanity, and I loved it.
The gameplay is rather smooth, and I would say it has replay value to those who want to progressively increase the difficulty.

Here's a key point - the stealth is actually viable.
Although I am a pro-stealth action gamer, it wouldn't be incorrect to say that Metro 2033 has its stealth moments that are challenging and likely enjoyable to even those who despise the sneaking around.

The single player is pretty satisfying.
Great story worthy of being part of the Max Payne series.

As for the multiplayer - unknown.
I bought and played this game long after the trend, and therefore haven't played the MP.

WTF people!
This isn't the OFP I grew up with over 10 years ago.

These devs need to get their act together.
Probably best if they never touch the OFP name ever again.

Stealth is my type of genre.
Old school Thief fans are going to rage at me for liking this, but it is quite enjoyable actually.

That being said, it can get a little repetitive.

I love the artwork! The gloomy, dark city is quite appealing and very appropriate.
The game runs smoothly and the UI is not intrusive - things stealth actions need.

Recommended for those who appreciate this sort of art style, and stealth aficionados.

Nothing can touch Chaos Theory, but this one does scratch the surface.
The gameplay and mechanics are extremely fluid.
It's given me a lot of incentive to go back and replay maps.

ESPECIALLY TRUE FOR CO-OP - IT'S AWESOME.

This one was a bit of a surprise.
I was a FarCry fan when the first game came out, and every title since came under severe speculation.

That being said, this game is kicka$$ so far.
I find the in-game menus like the Inventory/Backpack to be a little derpy (yes, derpy), but it doesn't ruin the gameplay experience.

I'd play something like this over the standard MP shooters any day.

The one thing I can think of that this game absolutely needs are large-scale maps.
Think Project Reality from BF2 big.
