Steam Deck Review for
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Despite ubisoft attempts to ruin this game for deck users with each title update, currently it is in a playable state. Using GE 8.3 or Experimental I am able to get Ubisoft launcher to let me in game.
Graphic settings must be turned down, there’s a nifty Reddit post that has some great tips on how to dial in those settings for a playable and enjoyable experience

Gameplay is solid as ever, gunfights feel fun and engaging, story is good if you aren’t an Un-American commie. There is tons of character development for majority of the npcs you will come across during your journey. Can even tug on your heart strings with some of the audio clips you can find throughout the city, some tell very sad tales. And for the achievement hunters / completionist there is tons of secrets and collectibles to make your time spent exploring and adventuring in DC rewarding and engaging. The atmosphere of the game I would say is only topped by the snowy silent atmosphere of NYC in the previous title. DZ is more fleshed out than the first title, albeit just as toxic. Missions feel impactful to the progression as the game world changes and reacts to the blood sweat and tears you shed in our capital. Still a small but seemingly active community of helpful players and trolls alike.
Over 600 hours on PS4 prior to switching to deck. Still enjoying every minute of this series, redownloading Division 1 as I type this for them snow vibes.
