Really tough to get into, but if you manage to get past the rough (but much less so than before the Steam release) early concepts. This is basically the best and most complete builder/city sim/base builder/colony sim and many other genres.
Highly recommend to play, or at least follow on stories others share about the game!

Time for first playthrough : 17 hours

Does not contain spoilers.

This is Half Life Alyx, or HLA, a kind of soft-horror, story driven, combat and exploration heavy game.

I rate this game as a must-have experience to anyone that has access to VR currently.

My description of the game
(no spoilers)
The game does contain some "horror" but no real jumpscares and it's always quite fair with not trying to go too far, even for someone faint of heart like I am. The story is very well wrapped and presented but I wouldn't describe it as the main focus of the game. Prior knowledge of the Half Life lore will help to better understand what happens throughout the game (especially as you progress through the game) but is not mandatory to enjoy the experience. The shooting and scavenging feel great and really match the atmosphere the game puts forward. Gameplay is more diverse than one might expect as new gameplay is introduced throughout the game.

A really good game if you are into turn based rpg combat and a great choice-driven storyline.

Orbital Gear is worth playing. It has a unique concept of walking around planets and fighting each other by many different ways. It has a bunch of weapons, and that old-fps very fast paced style which is quite unusual nowaday. It still has a great potential of evolution, which could be unveiled by adding character customisation, more strategic gamemodes (such as a CTF which can bring a defence/offence strategy) and so on. The main downside is that there are no bots, add to that a little community : here you have the recipe to make you either play alone or not play at all...
I would give 13/20 with a potential of 16/20 with what I suggested above :)!

First Warning : This is more a book with a few choices here and there rather than a game!
Personnal rating : 17/20 as a book.
It's really well written, and very interesting though.
And it's actually more a fiction in a science-fiction world : the world you are during the first half is pretty the same as ours, technologicaly speaking, while the origin world is far more advanced but we only see a fragment of it that still seems pretty near us. The story is really great and perfectly written, the audio/graphics are really cool because they're not covering the "Visual-Novel" concept while staying interesting.
I would still put this in the Science-Fiction category because of the "true" fusion bomb (which made me smile a bit^^), and its potential told consequences (embrasing the atmosphere was still near reality compared to the "it'll transform into a star" which isn't possible...)
The next episode is promising!

Top game! Really impressive I must say! I don't even know why I bought this game at first but because of the reviews : I realized a few moments later that I bought a puzzle-platform game... which I only very rarely like^^. I was like "Oh f*ck! I've just wasted my money! F*ck!". And when I started playing the game, I was like "Man, you bought it : play it now!". 1 hour later, I had to go : that's when I realized that I spent 1 hour on what I thought I spent 2 minutes! I actually like it much! The main thing I like about that game is : the freaking skilled murders! Graphics are pretty good, it has a very good ambiance (thanks to a really coordinate music and darkness) and I'm still surprised of how easy it is to play this game with a controller! Because, yeah I have to admit it, I'm a PC gamer that -sometimes though- uses a gamepad (*cough*Fifa*cough*)... So, if you like plateform, puzzles, action, adventure... Just buy it if you like to play games XD!
