Despite what a lot of people might say about this game at this point in time, I think it's fairly enjoyable. I decided to start playing it because I wanted something somewhat strategical but not ridiculously difficult or with a lot of depth. I have little to no experience in this game's genre. I found a great balance in this game. I haven't actually played the multiplayer, but the single player (at least in my experience) is more fair than many people seem to be saying it is. If you're looking for some sort of story or an extremely well balanced game, you might not find what you're looking for. However, if you at least want a game you can continually return to and play whenever you're bored I suggest you give Card Hunter a try.

This game definitely fixed a lot of the problems I had with the first! The controls are still a little off, but the time limits felt pressing and the level design was clever.

My time spent playing this game was very well distributed and I spent less than an hour not knowing where exactly to go (but possibly more being a tryhard to see if I could find any secrets). The atmosphere is stunning, the platforming is easy until after you get past the Ginso Tree (I'm not that good at platformers but I still found the flood escape to be easy, though saying what is difficult in this game could spark a little controversy). Secrets were well hidden and some collectables were actually difficult enough to reach that I gave up on them. I wish I could have legitimate achievements for what I did find to make my hours not look ridiculous, but the achievement system glitched out and gave me more. That's probably been fixed now. The game felt fluid, but I was sad to see that once I beat the game I couldn't go back and collect some of what I missed. After the ending, you can't go back for some unknown reason. Overall this game was an 8/10 for me.

I still haven't finished this game, but I do have some mixed feelings about my experience. There are way too many sections that are too easy to get stuck on and not understand where you are. However, when you're platforming and fighting bosses with a variety of weapons it's one of the more enjoyable games I've played on Steam. Give it a try, and don't be afraid to look up any solutions if you get stuck.

Go ahead and play this game if you want to waste 5 minutes and feel a sense of some accomplishment at the end. At first I thought I'd have a solid, enjoyable rage game. I was having fun for the first 2 worlds thinking they were easing me into a harder difficulty with easy time limits and platforming. I reached the third world and it had a water mechanic that was confusing and didn't feel fluid AT ALL. I say it was confusing because I spent almost all of my time playing this game in the third world, thinking I needed some sort of skill to not hit the walls above me. Nope. Most of what you do in the water is spam the up key. I was also confused because I thought I'd need some sort of pickup to double jump when I could have just done it the whole time. The 6th level was the only level where the timer got me because I didn't understand that I could actually double jump, and it was directly after what I thought to be the most difficult level so far. The levels after that were a breeze up until the final one, which I thought held a challenge with even more difficult timing that tripped me up a lot. Nope. Turns out it was just way too easy the whole time. I breezed through the last world in a few minutes. I think this game does have potential if updates come later.

I can't even explain this without spoiling it. It'll only take you a few minutes to finish and I regret none of my time spent playing it.

I'm not quite done with this game yet, but I do want to say that this game is much more enjoyable if you're good at looking for things and boss fights. I'm great at the latter, but you really will want to know that this game is great at seeming somewhat linear but hiding plenty of secrets. Multiple hours of my time are from when I was stuck. but whenever you backtrack you can typically find some sort of secret that you didn't see before that will make it a little more worth your time. It's frustrating, but the fights remain fun and you'll likely get used to it. Don't rely on the map too much like I did. The art style, the music, and the fighting system compliment each other extremely well. You'll be spending a lot of your time focusing on each of these aspects. Gotta recommend Hyper Light Drifter. c;

I had a lot of friends really pushing me to play this game and some great experiences, but overall it was honestly pretty boring. There might be some fun things to do on servers, but if you play with other people you either will want to start from the game's boring beginning stage or limit their items. Otherwise, they'll just bring in completely overpowered items and ruin the game. There are just too many ways to exploit the games and make the bosses more challenging than they should be. I still love the way the boss fights are designs (especially the queen bee) and there is just so much creativity in the items. I had the most fun when I was fighting them with minimal preparation, hopping into swarms of enemies unprepared, organizing my chests, and making a secret base. Some servers also have cool minigames. I'd recommend the game if you want to build and just goof off with friends, but not if you want to play alone.

I really didn't like dig, but I'm surprised by how well this game was pulled off. The environment is what really pulled me in. Upon seeing this I knew I'd appreciate a turn based shooting game in a somewhat tight environment. I was not disappointed. Something I was not expecting was an actual need for skill when pulling off a crazy shot. Sure, you have as much time to prepare as you'd like, but you only get one shot as your gun bobs around. The strategy in the game requires you to make sure you use each of your turns well as you attempt to move into a safe position where you know you have the skill to maximize the damage. I'm not sure what the game is like on the middle and lower difficulties, but it sure is fun "the way it's meant to be played".

It was kinda fun while I actually played it, but a little to straightforward.
The final boss was kinda fun, but the whole game is too short to justify very much enjoyment.
