For what this game is, it's incredibly balanced and has the perfect sized community. You'll find yourself traveling along slowly, but there will always be something for everyone on your crew to be doing productively. The strategy gets extremely deep with ship customization and you can easily struggle to keep up as a new player. Do not do pilot as one. Also, if you have lag you're doomed and your crew is going to yell at you. It happens. However, if you're a strategist fine with frustration coming mainly out of non-addiction and a limited amount of ship kills, this game is for you.

This game is pure brilliance. You will find yourself epicly mowing down crowds of enemies. However, there's a surprising amount of ways they can make the skills required for 2-button mashing different. You can have the bosses, where you go into each multiple hit part a bit blindly. Then there is the brawlers, which require fast thinking, planning, and reaction time. Then there is the normal part, which requires timing and speed.

Early Access Review
This game. This game. It's complexity is purely beautiful, and it does that right. It never forces you to spend to have fun, even though there are some missions which require payment, those are all optional and do not move the story on. The gameplay is balanced, the multiplayer is fun, and there is always something to do in this square-based tactics and resource management game.

This game is fun and you should start out official server multiplayer. It is fairly easy to learn and i suggest playing as the pyro first, then moving on to the heavy. Also, there are lots of fun smaller servers and a great trading community along with a competitive community. Also, you can go on special non-official servers such as randomizer, where every quality about your character is randomized to anything on any class, including having 3 different-class weapons.

This game is pure brillance. The level design, everything. You can easily soak it as someone that just plays games casually for fun or as someone willing to challenge themself to the achievements that take excruciatingly long amounts of time to get, the most notable being the hardcore achievements, forcing you to fully finish a world or it's dark world counterpart (you unlock each level's dark world after achieving an A plus on the level for beating it in a certain amount of time). There will always be something to do and there will always be a challenge there that can make you sweat quickly. Also, there is a secret character. Type in blobgoo and you will get a character from world of goo. When you press shift, you can cling to walls forever. The length of this game is brilliant for an indie game with a great community that is still active, making art and more levels you can play in super meat world. On the other side of this masterpiece, the music can get drilled into your mind too easily and it's not even really good, and you have to watch each cutscene everytime you go into something everytime, and whenever you beat a boss it does a destruction scene then flips to the next world. Other than that, i see no problems.

Tribes Ascend is a brilliantly fast but not fast-paced shooter that requires accuracy over awareness. The map is extremely open and you feel really bawesome skiing and jetpacking your way extremely quickly through an enemy fort. This is really tricky to stop but also satisfying, and you don't just have your fast battles requiring accuracy. When you try to shut down the enemy generator to limit their powers, that means that you can have the normal types of battles you are used to, and you can use the slower more explode-y weapons. The vehicles some say are underwhelming, and that depends on how they are priced. There's the slow tanky beowulf, the fast motorbike, and the shrike, which is your flying vehicle that is not for everyone. The call-ins are probably better. You can make recourse drops and also call in slow but extremely powerful strikes from the air.
