I'm afraid it's been... nine years.

I feel like I played this game nine years too early. I rushed through it looking for answers back in 2015. I'm working on 100% completion right now. It feels as fresh as the day it came out. 10/10. Kojima did it again.

I cannot recommend this Remaster as a fan of the original.

On my first playthrough I experienced multiple bugs that required me to reload a save, something that never happened to me with the original. I also feel like the AI is worse in the remaster somehow, like the hardest skill feels easier than the hardest skill in the original.

As long as the original game is available I'll recommend the original Crysis over this remaster.

Solid port of a great game. The single player Horde mode is fun for someone who likes infinite survival modes but the single player is where the game really shines. Episode 3 is my favorite.

So here's the thing about this game.

The learning curve is brutally hard, the game is confusing, there's a lot of mechanics that you need to keep in your head at all times, the ranked mode is simultaneously brutal and not fun but also the best way to play the game. It's awful for first time players, confusing as hell as to what edition to even buy.

But, if you can get past that, there really is no game quite like it. No two matches will look even remotely similar. I just got 3 matches on the same map in a row in ranked and they all felt completely different because of operator choice and site defense. It's an amazing game, more like chess or a strategy game than an FPS. I can promise you that these 600 hours have been some of the most fun I've had playing games. I've laughed my ass off during some game sessions due to the ridiculous level of hi-jinks you can get up to, and I've also sweated bullets while being the last alive in a 1v3 and BARELY scraping a victory out because I was able to not just outshoot but outsmart the last 3 enemies.

This is probably the best John Wick game you can imagine. It's not just about shooting skill, you can easily win solo against a full team if you're smart about engagements. Some operators make you feel like the predator coming in to an advancing attacking squad picking them off one by one and scaring the rest into nervousness as you descend on the last guy, or forcing an enemy into an angle you're watching only to headshot the first pixel of their model that you see, or sensing a guy sitting watching cameras through the floor and headshotting him with one well placed pistol shot before anyone knows what happened, or just the sheer pleasure of executing a well planned attacking strategy.

It would be a shame to never experience the absolute beauty of the emergent gameplay on display. It's a true multiplayer sandbox game. It is the pinnacle of multiplayer gaming. Rainbow Six Siege is a masterpiece. I hope they support this game for the next 5 years as well as they have. I want to keep coming back to it to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ madness of this game in action for years to come.

10/10. Probably the best multiplayer game of all time, easily the best one I've ever played. Easy contender for my favorite game of all time. Play it.

This game is a bit of a mess but there's some nice puzzles to be had.

PROS:
+Levels are thoughtfully designed
+Modeling and texture work are great
+Soundtrack is Portal-esqe while still good on its own merits

CONS
-Apocalyptically bad writing.
-Even worse voice work
-Paint Gun is buggy and sometimes unresponsive
-Puzzles have limited solutions early on

This game is something I can't recommend at full price. For $1.99 I can let it slide but for $5 or the full $7 they want for it pass. I like the idea and the actual gameplay is well done but they didn't capture what made Portal so good. The writer's idea of a joke is annoying heavy metal music being played at the start of a test and the narrator scrambling to turn it off but at the end of the test the narrator says "the music was intended" or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Really, the crap storytelling is the dealbreaker.

Play this game. I'll say it again just so you know. Play. This. Game. RPGs don't get better than this in terms of story.

Fallout 3 isn't just a game I think is good. Fallout 3 is the game I replay every now and again to remind myself that for all the Call of Dutys and Battlefields and Medal of Honors of the world that gaming is still worth defending. It has great writing, great story, memorable characters, awesome gameplay, and has a HUGE replay value. If you havn't experienced this game yet, go do it. Now. You will not have wasted your money, but you may spend the whole night playing it and wonder why its so bright outside at midnight. Or maybe that's just me.

This game got me into turn-based strategy games. It's learning curve is a little steep and it has a really weird difficulty curve but other than that it is one of the best strategy games I've ever played.

This is probably the best game I have ever played. It is an indespensible game for valve fans, puzzle fans, and people who just want to have fun. If you don't have this game, you are missing out on so much entertainment
