Sorry for not answering to you. To be honest, I was wondering if I should accept your invite or not. I know the MvM community has evolved over the years and I wouldn't be surprised that whatever I made is outdated or not reflecting what I wanted to say proper (like medic: never denied he is a powerful tool to have, just not necessary).

I also just play MvM right now rather casually (playing the new Potato tour sometimes) and not really needing right now to play at a higher level. Still, I wouldn't be against knowing a bit more about what is going on in the community strategy-wise, especially with the new MvM update being teased by the devs.

Me being downgraded to casual MvM player is also why I might skip on the lowmann offer, but it's far from a definitive "no".

I've read your reddit post, and your mvm changes proposal. You did say you were an old time player, and it shows; many of the changes you've mentioned, particularly the ones citing reasons like "high level players don't do / do XYZ" sound exactly like what I would expect from players in the 2014-2017 era, where it was trendy to label things like medic and canteens as not necessary, rather than a part of a player's whole toolkit to leverage in situations they find them fit in.

I'm not here to argue, because that's no fun. I'm here to offer you to play valve missions with me, just the two of us, so you can see for yourself how mvm strategy has evolved since the times in the which you wrote this proposal, so you can see for yourself what high level players would value today.

That, and I'm looking for new people to lowman with. Do let me know if you'd like to play, I host my own server to play these.
