Difficulty is too high, some monsters cannot be countered. Don't play if you enjoy getting things right, this game is unforgivable and frankly not fun.

Holy crap. this game is crack. i grew up playing the total war rome games, and this game absolutely smashes them!



120 hours in 2 weeks, and thats with 4 different factions. buy it. buy all the dlc. start off with a faction in a corner! try out every faction!

EDIT; tried it again, the game is just bad. it tries to be challenging just to be challenging. 90% of the reviews are either bandwagoners or bought and paid for. i absolutely despise the fact that they nailed the art and music, but the team in charge of designing the actual encounters is absolutely rarted.

That was fun. The gear progression was absolutely terrible but i couldnt name one other things i disliked!

Took me 3 hours to finish. I saw and skipped a few of the secret areas. There are 3 specific puzzles that are incredibly frustrating, not because theyre hard to figure out, but because they require immense luck and timing.

I give it a 6/10. It had less mass than a mobile game.

This game is terrible. Pass.

You'll get about 40 hours of enjoyment. I'd say that my only complaint is the poor Inventory UI, and the lack of fast travel in The Following DLC. Other than that, it's a great game for about 30 hours, then you get about 10 hours of searching for more enjoyment and getting bored.


Suggestion: Play Offline for at LEAST 8-10 Hours. Do NOT play with anybody else until hitting Level 12 in the 3 main skill trees.

The game has a TERRIBLE start, but it turns out to be AMAZING.

It's a smash up of Souls, D2, and a sprinkle of the Division.

7.5/10, play it with friends. Requires a chat function in the future.

The game is currently having some minor connection issues, and small glitches/bugs, but i am sure theyll be patched out.


DO NOT LOOK UP SECRETS there are a million, and you can solve them on your own. Enjoy!

This game is not fun. It is RNG and you will lose to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Good luck trying to upgrade everything, even on the easiest difficulty you will lose your crew and lose the 1st or 2nd fight. Terrible game design, worse than a flash game from newgrounds in 2005.

I didn't Play it for 70 hours, it sat afk for about 40 of those hours.

I played the game with all DLC minus stealth for about 15 hours. It was good. I give it a 4/5.

I played the game with mods added for another 15 hours. It was okay.

I made tried all classes at least 2 times, once in a short dry run, and a second time on the hardest difficulty possible.


I judge games that are built around strategy a fair shake when it comes to the design decisions behind 'difficulty'.


This game gets a 9/10 for everything. The team that spearheaded difficulty failed horribly. 0/10 on all aspects of providing the player with an actual-nonroleplayed difficulty.
