Minecraft est un jeu de type bac à sable, c’est à dire qu’il intègre des “outils” pour façonner
son propre univers de jeu. Ainsi , le joueur peut à peu près bâtir tout ce qu’il veut. Il existe différents modes de jeu dans lesquels la partie aventure et la partie créative sont plus ou moins développées. Minecraft n’est pas un jeu réaliste, et ses graphismes à base de cubes ne sont pas sans rappeler les jouets Lego.

Minecraft est une aventure gigantesque, sans commune mesure, à vivre seul ou accompagné par des amis en ligne.

Metal Gear Solid débute en 1964, durant la guerre froide. Le joueur incarne Naked Snake, un soldat d'élite de l'unité Fox qui deviendra par la suite le futur Big Boss. Sa mission est de libérer Sokolov, un ingénieur soviétique de génie. Il sera conseillé dans sa quête par Major Zero, ancien membre du SAS, Para-Medic, l'experte en soins et nutrition, et enfin Sigint, expert en armement. L'ancien maître de Snake, The Boss, est passée du côté ennemi et a reconstitué son ancienne unité, l'Unité Cobra, regroupant des soldats aux pouvoirs surnaturels. Snake doit donc aller libérer Sokolov, emprisonné dans une base de Volgin. Il doit être aidé dans cette tâche par ADAM, un agent spécial se trouvant dans cette base.
