Nothing to be said that hasn't already been said. Beautiful game with really fun bosses all the way through.

Solar Ash is a stunning game. The visuals never cease to amaze, especially for a game with what feels like a very simplistic art style. Every region has its own wonderful charm that made exploring feel so special.

The art design isn't the only thing that stands out about this game for me. The sound also helped to give this game such a fun and alive feeling the whole way through.

As far as gameplay goes, this game also manages to deliver on that incredibly well. It's not a very hard game, even playing on the hardest difficulty only proves mildly challenging (after playing on normal first), but wow is it fun. For such an easy game, it does a really good job of making you feel so badass the entire time. The movement is smooth and fast-paced, and the occasional bug with gravity does little to ruin my enjoyment of flying through the clouds similar to wavedashing in smash.

The story isn't very complicated, and the big reveal at the end of the game felt obvious from the beginning, but it's not bad by any means. I definitely recommend picking this game up if you have a day off with nothing to do.

This was such a beautiful game from start to finish. Everything from the visuals to the story-telling to the music was just so special.

This is a better version of the first game in every way. The puzzles, the story, the graphics, everything has been improved upon. There were several moments while playing where I had to stop and marvel at the beautiful world around me. Seeing the megastructure for the first time was jaw-dropping, I could barely comprehend what I was looking at. I spent a long time just taking it all in, nothing has ever made me feel so small.

Early Access Review
This might be the only idle game actually worth playing. Unlike most idle games, there is very little need to click in this game, which means no creating an auto clicker and no carpal tunnel from mashing your mouse button all day. Instead, the "active" play comes from several activities you can do while the game is doing it's idle thing for you. The result is a really fun idler that gives the rewarding feeling of an idle game, without feeling like you're wasting away staring at an idle game. Whether you're the type to turn one of these on and forget about it all day, or you're the type who likes to actively play and grind these idle games, this is the one to play.

Unplayable online. Super laggy and desynced buttons between people. I found a couple bugs just in the process of playing the game, and it is very easy to softlock. Softlock can be corrected by resetting the level, but it's bad level design to have that possible in the first place.

There is very obvious inspiration from the Portal series, which is hard to avoid in puzzle games these days, but I am all for it. This is the first game I have played that captured how incredible portal was, but this did it in a much more modern style and it worked really well. I enjoyed every second. The humor, the puzzles, the story, were all so captivating.

This might genuinely be the hardest puzzle game I've ever played. Every single puzzle is fully unique and requires you to think in new and challenging ways every step of the way. Somehow despite this level of difficulty, I never once felt frustrated at the puzzles or myself, the game managed to avoid any sense of annoyance. Some of the puzzles can be brute forced which makes the "solution" seem dumb, as if there was no way for you to figure it out, but every puzzle has an actual solution that makes sense if you can come to it naturally.
