Great puzzle game with different puzzles and great story line

Definitely hits that "Portal-abandoned-Facility" spot, the voice acting as well as the soundtrack were peak.

The puzzles are pretty good, the elements are introduced one-by-one which I liked very much, although sometimes I felt like there was an intended solution but I had to cheese it because I saw no other way.

The lore that is scattered around the game is very, very intriguing and made me wish for more of the story in some form outside of the game.

I was disappointed with this game, to put it lightly. I won't mention other games made by the owners of Steam because it's already been said, but even people I streamed this game to made the comparison off-hand. It's rather blatant at times; one or two superficial similarities (like a science-based setting where you complete puzzles for some end there) is fine. The overlap is when it becomes eyebrow-raising.

The gameplay itself is fine but it's got the problem some object-based puzzle games do where if you mess up even ONE step, you have to start the whole thing over. Even if it's an error that's not your fault like the physics glitching out (Objects moving on conveyors). The glitching didn't happen too often, and if you're not opposed to this aspect of object-based puzzlers you'll be fine.

The most disappointing aspect is the story, lore, and message. First, the message is forced and silly, frankly. And it wouldn't be so bad if the story wasn't pointless. But it is. You can guess fairly early on what's happening, the game reinforces it, and the lore you have to go out of your way to find leads to the said forced message. It's frustrating because they put so much effort into voice-acting and everything, and there's a point where there's obviously meant to be some sort of, like, emotional connection or understanding. But I just felt nothing.

Basically, if you want rewind-based puzzles, go for it. I'd even say it might be worth $20! But no matter what, I'm just disappointed with what the game gave me versus the potential it had with such a story.
