This game is like a fine wine for me. It gets better with age. I bought the game around 2015/2016 and tried to play it just to put it down because of my inability to enjoy games with a little more complicated gameplay than Shoot, Loot and Scoot. I recently picked the game up again and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. If you like BioShock 1/2 then you will probably enjoy this game since it is clearly a part of the inspiration for BioShock. Without spoiling the game I can only say that the gameplay is a bit old but isnt too confusing for the average person to worsen the experience for them. You can easily learn most of the game mechanics within 2-3 hours. The game isnt too hard but not too easy. I do however have one slight problem with the game difficulty which is that in the later levels the "rez chamber" as I would call it is either near the end of the level or absent which can cause a very big spike of difficulty for people who arent used to saving often and loading when they die instead of being revived at the start of the level. The story is not too complicated and has good pacing. Lastly I would like to say that the game can be replayed many times without you feeling like you keep doing the same thing. At the start you choose a "career" which affects your stats in different ways. Kind of like a class in Morrowind or Oblivion. Overall System Shock 2 is truly an experience and a must play for any fan of the BioShock series. I would give it 9/10
