As to RE7: I've very mixed thoughts on the game and I feel like this is a good example as to why there should be a third rating option between "recommended"/"not recommended" for Steam reviews.
I wish you a nice Easter weekend as well!
All the points U made were quite valid – especially the one about playing games on other platforms and then returning to STEAM to leave a review. (I C that U mentioned that U have put in time on the Switch for some of UR more recent reviews.) In fact, right after submitting my comment, it occurred to me that this might be a possibility.
TBH w/ U, I think I may have f---ed up w/ my comment. I often browse through people’s profiles, so I think that it’s not outside the realm of possibility that I was looking at someone else’s profile and got it confused with URs.😰 I also instantly regretted posting my comment, but upon trying to go and delete the comment I did not find it there.
Regardless, I kind of feel like an ass for my comment. However, there is indeed one review that I disagree with U on - RE7 - mostly because it happens to be my favorite game in the franchise. Sorry for the critical comment and I hope U have a good weekend, man.
Any games in particular that you think I treated unfairly due to a lack of playtime? I do mainly play on consoles nowadays (Switch/PS4) and my playtime on Steam doesn't necessarily reflect my experience with a given game. I've gotten plenty of duplicate copies on Steam thanks to humblebundle and just wanted to use the review system to share my thoughts on games ^^
Just leaving a comment here about your review style on STEAM. (Please keep in mind that I mean this as constructive criticism.) I've noticed that you seem to write reviews after playing the game for only a few hours or only completing say 10% of the game. You can see why this probably isn't very conducive to writing a good review, right? Think about it this way... almost all the good games journalist reviewers write a review only after they have beaten a game.
Alright, other than that, I hope things are well / have been well with you. Tschüss.
