If you like poker hands, this game is nice and addicting in a good way and you won't go broke playing it.

This is a visually stunning game that delivers on almost every front. From the breathtaking cinematics to the smooth action gameplay that can be as easy or as hard as you want it. It’s clear a lot of care went into crafting this experience. The music and sound effects are fantastic, adding layers of immersion, and the voice acting is superb, bringing a mature and emotionally gripping story to life.

However, the side quests feel a bit weak, like typical MMO fetch quests, which is a bit disappointing. Also, there's not much comic relief, but that fits the more serious tone of the game, so it’s not a huge issue.

I did notice some minor graphical glitches and a few stutters while running it on a 5800X3D/7900 XTX @ 1440p setup on max settings, but nothing game-breaking. Hopefully, these will be patched soon. Overall, despite these small drawbacks, the game is solid and definitely worth playing!

Yes it is a good game, even since early access.

Addicting gameplay, easy to sink time into ~30 mins a run. There is permanent progression and a wide variety of unlockable characters with different buffs and starting weapons. Game theme reminds me of Castlevania. Steam Deck staple. 100% recommend it for anyone's library.

Not to get ahead of ourselves but this is the best game to play on the toilet for Steam Deck controls. Gibe Portal 3 pls.

Ruins of Tacos is a really fun roguelike (only the dungeon part), town building, pixel graphics, online co-op, lots of different classes to unlock, puzzles, and collecting items. It is a lot of fun with friends!

Hope they create more dungeons in the future because those were a meaty part of the experience, or maybe more open world areas like the lava area!

Things I didn't like: In co-op talking to NPCs causes everyone to stop what they're doing. Understandably pausing should do this, but not the other things. When using a controller and your inventory is open you may accidentally use an item (like bombs).

It's a nice, short Metroidvania. Enjoyed the mechanics, some actions felt a little floaty but you get used to it. Definitely recommend.
