Record Of Lodoss War Deedlit In Wonder Labyrinth Is A Metroidvania Game Set In A Fantasy World Where You Play As A Female Elf Hero As She Attempts To Get Out Of A Dungeon Of Which She Has No Memory Of Entering, After Fully Completing This Game I'll Give Some Pro's, Neutrals and Cons

PRO'S:
-Good protagonist who is well written, stylish and cute
-Good sprite animations and effects
-Good platforming and movement with a well designed map
-Good environment details that are very detailed
-Good story, a bit predictable but still has plenty of twists and turns
-Good x-appeal, doesn't shy away from the spice
-Good amount of secrets to find
-Good amount of puzzles that aren't too easy or too hard
-Good combat that allows you to use multiple types of weapons, magic and spirits
-Good difficulty balance, easy at the start, ramps up at mid and a bit tough but still fair at the end
-Good enemy design
-Has a Boss Rush mode after you complete the game if your into that type of thing
-Apparently has books and anime of the same name? I didn't know this prior to playing this game but interesting to note, i suppose this game takes place long after those stories
-Good performance, no lag or bugs

NEUTRAL'S: "No Score Change From These"
-Game length about 6+ hours
-Some of the enemies near the end of the game have a bit too much hp but not that big of a deal

CON'S:
-Nothing i can think of

Overall Record of Lodoss War Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth was quite a good Metroidvania game, it's incredibly stylish, has solid animations and honestly was fun to play from start to finish, it's a bit short at just 6+ hours but it's a good enough game that it really doesn't matter, if you like Metroidvania games then this is definitely one worth considering but as always, It's.. Up.. To.. You, and i'll leave it at that. (^_−).

There isn't much to say here. This is a solid, SOTN style Metoidvania based on the Lodoss franchise.

Pros:
- Great spritework.
- Characters from Record of Lodoss War are decently represented.
- Great controls.
- Decent music.
- Competent Level Design.

Cons:
- Game is a bit short by modern standards.
- The story might not make as much sense if you're not already familiar with Record of Lodoss War.

Overall I recommend this when on sale. The normal price might be hard to justify given the game's length for some players.

Super fun! Controls well, the right amount of systems to juggle with movement / weapons / magic / items and so on, plenty of very different enemies and bosses that go from "uh how is this chaos even possible to survive" to "oh okay that wasn't so bad" as you learn the patterns (a few things remained frustrating - skill issue I guess). INSANE pixel art, 10/10 joy to look at. Story made absolutely no sense, partially because I haven't watched the anime (yet, will now for sure!) of course but also just didn't seem like the best writing; at the very least feels like it didn't translate well. Anyway, time (mercifully short, about six hours and I take my time + worst sense of direction) and money well spent. Recommended!
