A very solid JRPG that manages to modernize a lot of pain points well known in the genre. Exploration and content completion is frequently rewarded, battles (including boss encounters) are *always* short to short-ish, with the focus on team synergy and utilizing the game's combat system rather than raw overpowering stats.

The story is fantastic and hits a lot of serious tones, with each character feeling alive and full of their own experiences.

If you're a fan of the genre, definitely pick it up. Do it, you dingus.

I find it to be complete bull**** that you can't choose to follow Ln'eta's request to not do the final ritual. You either go with Estir, break up with Ln'eta or leave her for another thousand years

Also, I'm very disappointed you can't actually give Ln'eta a big ol' hug, if you put that in there, we're gonna want to do it
