overall an amazing OST.
it comes in MP3 and tagged wave. so encoding to something better like FLAC is no problem.

however there's a few things to take not of with this.
1) a few of the tracks have a odd pause right at the beginning. so if your encoder has a trim silence from beginning and end. enable it. on DBpoweramp (my preferred encoder/CD ripper) use the trim silence DSP effect and set it to "any value below [default options]" works, i also applied replay gain (track and album))
2) why they used WAV instead of flac is beyond me. both WAV and FLAC are lossless, even if using flac compression (its similar to zip compression). the lv 8 compressed FLACs save 2.83 GB. the smaller size is useful for putting this on your phone or player of choice even if its just a few select files. the smaller size of FLAC should be preferred over uncompressed wave.

all in all. a great soundtrack. an almost perfect release i dare say if not for those pauses and WAV encoding. however i will be uninstalling the DLC and keeping the FLAC encode as i have no need for 3 copys of the music on my PC.

edit: for the above review i didnt even open any of the MP3 folders, i just did after looking at the other reviews. and MP3s and the tags ARE there. it has all the needed tags and then some, artist, song title, album, track, year, genre, disc number, composer, and including embedded album art. the mp3 file itself is bog standard 192kbps CBR MP3

heres the tags from the first song, as provided by DB poweramp tag copy feature.

GRIS is an experience.
the art is SUPERB with a watercolor and ink asthetic.
the music is SUPERB. it feels reactive.

the gameplay is mostly platforming, no risk of a gameover from the platforming, in fact i dont think theres any way to "game over" in it. overall the platforming is simplistic, with some puzzles, and gimicks to keep it fresh through out.

my one complaint is i wish the story was spelt out a little more in game.
also the game is quite short. i completed it in about 4 hours didnt collect everything in that time. but did get to to credits.

100% achievement time for those efficient would be about 4-5 hours. i took 6.

if your looking for a well made, charming cozy game it cant hurt to check this out. the demo should give you around a 1 hour sample what the full game should be like.

one thing to note. the reason with the snickers and re-reads in the audio in game. it was a choice by the devs to not do any retakes to give it its own flair. for the most part theres 0 issues with the takes, there are a few lines contain snickers and re-takes inline.

its music is AWESOME. there are a few brainworms in here. i challenge you not to hum along with Rik Speks theme song.

this is a great collection, not as great as the main game (1.5+2.5) however as someone who owns this on both steam and ps4. this is the way to play. my favorite game in this set is "0.8 a fragmentary passage", aquas battle style is sooooo smooth and elegant. on ps4 the UI is so small, and hard to see. here on a monitor its a prefect size.

if your a fan of SAO then its hard to go wrong with this game.
it does get kinda laggy when tons of enemies get on screen at the same time, and theres a few bugs you may encounter, check out the discussions to fixes for those.
if your an achievement hunter do not be deterred by the 2 multiplayer achievements as there is a solo mode of multiplayer
graphics are kinda lacking for the majority of the game, but when you consider its a remaster of Hollow Fragment on the PS vita which itself is of a remaster and expansion of infinity moment on the PSP.
other then the above i give this a solid 8 out of 10 stars.

a great addition to the neptunia storyline. just make sure you use the Megaresolution Neptunia mod as it fixes a few bugs.

D4 really butchered this, there are 2 things that lead me to think this is a emulated release.
1) it was developed by D4Enterprise Co.,Ltd they specialise in EMULATION (their project EGG). and the PS1 emulator used here absolutely SUX.
2) in the game data files i see 2 files named cdrom.dat and cdrom2.dat (and chrono cross was a 2 disc PS1 game)

because chrono cross is a notorisly hard game to emulate, explains the frame rate, and screen tearing issues. this is not an excuse for a crappy release.

updating your video drivers helps. but it dosent eliminate the problem, and using Special k helps even more. with special k the game holds a steady 58-60 fps

my system exceeds the minimum requirements.
heres my specs
win10 64bit, Ryzen 5 3600, 32 GB 2400MHz DDR4, Nvidia GTX 1650 with 4GB vRAM
its currently installed to a mechanical hard drive, ill move this to my NVME and see if this helps.

to all the people saying "there are no bugs" there are other computer configurations that are very much unlike yours.
when i first started this game, the frame rate was sooo choppy, and so so much tears, i was getting a headache.

there are so many issues, that if you are considering getting this game, do the following before playing, update your vider drivers, and install the "Special K injection Frontend"
then launch the game via steam, if it gives you frame rate issues, go into SKIF and start the Special K service (via the Special K entry). if the game is playable thank the dev of special k and enjoy.
if it remains unplayable take advantage of steams refund.
and please leave another review as this is going to be the only way square notice all this.

its a piss poor remaster. HORRIBLE FRAME PACING ISSUES. backgrounds look crappy just slightly higher then the F9 remaster.

use Special k to fix the frame rate issues.

dont buy this, its a horrible experiece.

this game is hella fun. and i cant recommend it enough.
it does have a steep learning curve though with as many crafting stations as there are.
once you get used to it (including the dungeon. start a new world on the "drunk seed" (05162020). its even better (read about it here https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Secret_world_seeds#Drunk_world)

if i could use a star rating it would be 3 out of 5, simply due to it being untagged WAV.
if it came as FLAC i this is a easy 5/5 stars. cause the otherworld music is AMAZING.

i love the otherworld music and if you use MP3 then by all means get it.
HOWEVER if you use lossless music do note it comes as untagged WAV files. so you will have to take the time to encode and tag it to your wanted format
took me about a hour to encode and tag it all

the WAV is 772 MB in size
the FLAC encode i did is 446 MB in size. and its fully taged with embeded album art.

also if people are concerned that FLAC is not very accessable. WAV is even less accessable thansk to there being no tags. most devices/software that have losless support, have FLAC support (with few exceptions.) and encoding to WAV would take a few minutes
