Early Access Review
Forewarning: I'm a desktop player, I don't own a VR headset and most likely never will.

So, yeah, EAC is now a thing, and it's just an inconvenience for most people who play it. Some small notes:

- They've elected to tell the modding community (which basically provides QoL and accessibility mods for players) to sod off.

- EAC causes really garbage performance, that's just a generalized rule of thumb. It's also Ring 0 under Windows, which is as close to the kernel as you can get under Windows. Gross.

- Among other things, the devs have proven more than ever that they refuse to listen to proper feedback, even when THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY tells them to not implement an anticheat that serves no purpose in a social game. If it were a game like an MMO or shooter, that'd be a different story, but this is a glorified chat client, not a competitive game.

- This doesn't fix the issue of crashers and lag-causing avatars; those are avatars people put together and put in the game. Mods didn't even do that, and besides, now they're just encouraging malicious modding in this game.

In good faith, I can't recommend anyone to play this at this point, and I'm sure there's alternatives (but I'm not sure on names), but the devs of VRChat have made such a stupid decision on multiple fronts, alienating their community and choosing to be arrogant and think they know better than the players. In reality, they've caused such a huge distrust that many people are seeking alternatives. You may see me playing this game, but when I say it's not out of enjoyment, I mean it. It's a last resort to my boredom, and I HIGHLY recommend you seek alternatives.

Truer words were never spoken until now Katja, Tupper and VrcPill (THE inventor's/owners of vrchat) are so full of shit and two faced and hypocritical and thieves (they stole mods, banned the modder's of those mods, then illegally used said mod's in their code for vrc+ literally profiting off other people's work supposedly)that they are digging vrchat's grave, which is a shame, i WANT to see it succeed i really do, but i think first on the list of problems to fix is the god damn management, and hire competent people.
