Pure nostalgia-trip 10/10

(If you wonder about my low playtime, it's because I've played the majority of the time on the physical copy before buying the game on Steam)

This is probably my favorite game of all times:
-It has simple but beautiful visuals
-Great Level Design
-A linear but convincing story
-Great gameplay (revolutionary at the time!)

I feel like it's a pretty niche game and that's okay, it's not for everyone. For a game that is 8 years old, it still looks amazing and I love playing it over and over :)

My favorite crafting/exploration/mining game. Despite still being in Alpha, I find Starbound to be an amazing game, even more so after the big winter update.

The entire race system creates a "Mass-Effect-like" feeling for me and their cultural traits give them more personality than you'd expect from an NPC in a sandbox game like Starbound.
The possibilities for exploring are sheer endless, the quest they implemented are a good replacement for the old tutorial and the bosses are challenging. The pixel graphics give the game a certain charme and I've caught myself thinking quite often how cute this game actually is.
All in all, Starbound is a very relaxing and chill game, that is very fun to play with a buddy as it is in singleplayer.

Quite possibly one of the best games I've ever played. The characters are great and develop over time, you never know what happens next, enjoy the little moments of happiness and safety while you can because danger and death lurks behind every corner.
Cried three times because of this game: once playing it, second time watching a let's play, third time playing it again because my save game got corrupted and Season 2 was about to come out.
Hats off to TellTale.

Basically my replacement drug for not playing Diablo. Playing with friends could be better as leveling together can be somewhat of a pain, especially when you have a +50 hour gap in play time.
Even though it is a F2P game, if you wanna hoard items and care about being good rather than having "just fun", you'll eventually drop some money on it. That doesn't make it pay to win though, as you can't buy high-end items with money. Just various boosts, characters and costumes for them (some of which are quite worth it).
But I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys looting and leveling and additionally adores Marvel's universe and characters.

Does exactly what I always missed about L4D2: RPG elements, classes and levels. Also 6 players instead of 4. Quite intense but so much fun when you gather some friends to play it.

Quite possibly one of the funniest games to play in local coop, wish they'd bring the local game modes online. Also never thought I'd enjoy naked dudes with floppy weiners climbing on top of each other so much. I swear I'm straight.
