Very promising. The interactions between the characters are a stand out for me. All the little stuff like that show me how much the devs care.

Every time I check back in with this game they've either done a really big update, or are releasing weekly dev diaries about the next big update. The communication is somewhat surreal.

Idk me and my degenerate friends thought it was pretty fun while dunk on a Friday night.

I think how much you enjoy this really depends on the type of person you are and who you play with.

I do not like this game.

It's broken, horribly unbalanced, and filled with unfun cards that win the round as soon as they are popped. And if you don't have the broken cards your friends do? Well tough ♥♥♥♥ lol guess you have to work for your rounds.

For a "lol so fun" party game with friends it gets very sweaty very quickly. Don't even bother playing it online with randoms unless you're down to game like you're playing for a million dollars. How much fun you're having is directly correlated to whether or not you're winning, except winning doesn't feel great either because your friend just exclaimed "what killed me?!" because the brain popping card hasn't told the other team well enough that they have lost the round before it already started. If I have to ask my friend wtf I died in one shot to because the game won't tell you, it's not a well designed game. 2v1s are nearly unwinnable, especially with the plethora of broken cards that turn them even more against the solo's favor. There are a few comeback cards, but they don't fix the impossible odds of winning a 2v1 even slightly.

Maps are a jumbled ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess that makes you feel forced the use the moose character to have any fun traversing them. This is exacerbated by the card that disables jumping because the moose running circles around the one that can't jump always wins. None of them were designed with the actual game play in mind, but instead because the devs thought the idea of the map was cool. Whether or not they work in reality was never even considered. Somehow, all the maps manage to be either too claustrophobic or too open.

All in all, not a fun experience. I know the broader public enjoys this game and my review isn't going to change anyone's mind, so I'm only writing this for my own sanity. Would only play again to appease cringe friends who refuse to do anything else.
