I've been playing since launch. While the first couple months of the game saw a huge fan base, some unfortunate decisions from the devs (at the time) saw an exodus of players leave HD2. With the renewed efforts of the developers, and their 60 day plan to revitalize the game, Helldivers 2 is now back to it's full glory -- even better than before!

I've dropped 60+ hours in this game. I've solo'd mission arcs alone. I've joined match-made lobbies. I've run full squads with friends. The experience overall (as of October 2024) is a fantastic one. We are on the eve of the game's one year anniversary, and the devs are planning something special for the occasion. I'd highly recommend the game in it's current state, and I GREATLY appreciate the transparency that Arrowhead games has shown the community. Join their discord; they regularly send out questionnaires and surveys for player feedback!
