UPDATE: SONY BACKED OFF. I STILL LOVE THIS GAME: The Review

100 hours.

I love this game, the studio, and I am indifferent but thankful to the publisher for listening.

If you like to shoot BUGS, ROBOTS, and [REDACTED] I recommend this game wholeheartedly to anyone who enjoys doing so with friends and a core focus on teamwork. No other game I've played really achieves it in the way that this one does. The core gameplay is an arcadey 3rd person jump-outta-the-way mission based game.

UNLOCKS: Perfectly paced and enjoyable. There's no extra fluff here. It's straightforward and I almost wish I could forget and enjoy it again for the first time.

Good luck Hell Diver. Democracy needs you.

====Below is from when the publisher decided to attempt to force folks to sign up====
No amount of marketing can buy what this game has done. I have talked to friends I haven't spoken to in over a decade because of this game and other players I've talked to had similar experiences.

Listen to the community, keep building an amazing game, reverse the decision and find another way to get the base interested in the playstation network.

Well howdy there, partner. Let me tell ya about Red Dead Redemption 2, the finest cowboy game I ever did play. It's got everything you could want in a Wild West adventure, from shootouts with bandits to wrangling cattle on the open range.

The graphics are as pretty as a sunset over the prairie, with stunning vistas and attention to detail that'll make you feel like you're really there in the dusty boots of a cowpoke. And the sound design is top-notch too, with the clippity-clop of hooves and the twang of a guitar adding to the immersive experience.

But what really sets Red Dead Redemption 2 apart is its story. You play as Arthur Morgan, a rough-and-tumble cowboy with a heart of gold, as he navigates the changing times of the late 1800s. The characters are so real you'll swear you've met 'em before, from the grizzled outlaw Dutch to the spunky young gunslinger Sadie.

And the choices you make as Arthur can have real consequences, affecting not just the story but the relationships between characters as well. It's a tale of loyalty and betrayal, of love and loss, of the fight for justice in a world that often feels like it's gone mad.

So if you're hankerin' for a truly epic cowboy adventure, saddle up and head on over to Red Dead Redemption 2. It's a game that'll stick with ya long after the credits roll, like the memories of a wild ride through the Badlands.

CS:GO Review
Well, well, well, what do we have here? Counter Strike Global Offensive, or as I like to call it, "CSGO." Let me tell you, folks, this game is something else.

First of all, the graphics are pretty good. Not bad, not bad at all. The characters are sharp, the weapons look deadly, and the explosions are, well, explosive.

But let's talk about the gameplay. This game is all about strategy, teamwork, and quick reflexes. And let me tell you, I've seen some pretty impressive moves from some of the players out there. It's like watching a dance, except instead of twirling around gracefully, they're shooting each other in the face.

Now, I hear there's a new Counter Strike game on the horizon. And let me tell you, I'm excited. I'm a big fan of sequels. I mean, who doesn't love a good sequel? Except for maybe Jaws 2. That one was a bit of a letdown.

But back to the new game. I can only imagine the new features and improvements they'll make. Maybe they'll add a mode where you can play as a politician trying to avoid scandal while navigating through a crowd of reporters. Or maybe a mode where you have to run a campaign and try to win the election by promising the most unrealistic things possible.

Who knows? The possibilities are endless. But until that new game comes out, I'll be busy playing CSGO. And let me tell you, I'm pretty good. I mean, I'm no pro, but I can hold my own. Maybe one day I'll go pro and join a team. The Secret Service might have something to say about that, but hey, a man can dream, can't he?

The game is fun; but if it's not fun why bother?

-Will update if this isn't the case.

The goods: Fun to play, Arcadey feel, Great to play with friends. Excellent Single player story. Heists & Missions in multiplayer.

The bads: Inflated economy, that one ****er that keeps spawn killing you.

The uglys: Shark cards. Zero benevolent official mod support.

Okay, so Arma 2 felt like you had a washing machine duct-taped to your head. Arma 3 improves a little bit but it still doesn't feel as tight and polished as CoD or Battlefield.

Pros:
Better than Arma 2 by a long shot
Graphics look good too
Gun sounds and feel are good
Vehicles control well
LOTS of mods and maps

Cons
Still clunky when it comes to fast paced gun-game
Something just doesn't feel complete about it
DLC is meh and annoying

Final Thoughts: Get this if you're looking for a military combat simulator you can play with friends

Early Access Review
This is an early access review.

With the recent update, it's good to see that the latest content is only improving what was already there. I played the first game a little bit and was super intrigued by the second's art style. They took the concept of the first game and brought it into the 3rd dimension, and Hopoo did so masterfully.

Multiplayer: Very fun.

Things I love: Every power-up item stacks until you are a god provided you don't do something stupid. The characters are all very different and I can't wait for more to be added.

Things I don't like: Not much story besides reading through the data-logs. This is an early access game so we can't ask for to much in the way of that. My hope is that as the game grows in popularity so does the reinvestment into game itself. I strongly believe that Hopoo will continue to do so. If I remember correctly there was a lot of post release content in the first game and people who played it definitely felt the love that was poured into it.

With all the gifts I've bought of this game for friends the Hopoo employees could have a very nice dinner.

Review Update:
Still a great game, hope mod support continues. What would be over the top is if they made a rudimentary character creator that you could mess around with. By that I mean, simple UI and code examples of abilities.

This game has an almost timeless feel to it. I've spent a fair amount of time playing over the years. I can't believe it's now half a decade old.

Anyways, to sum it up shortly I'd recommend this to someone who enjoyed minecraft but also likes Zelda II.
